Did Scoopers miss this or did I miss this nickname being referenced while my wife and I were travelling?

John, the 6-9 freshman center called "Tarzan" by teammates for his muscle-bound build, pulled down five rebounds in the first 20 minutes, including three on the offensive end, and added two emphatic blocks.

Yeah I think Markus mentioned it in an interview before last season. Never really stuck on Scoop. Not sure if the team still calls him that

I don’t think he needs a nickname when that comes out so naturally.

When I think of "The Monster" it always makes me think of a book I read to my kids hundreds of times, The Monster at the End of this Book.

I think of Theo as "The Monster at the End of the Lane"
