64 points combined from Markus, Joey, and Sacar.

Needed a game from Sacar like that. Feels like he needs to be less deferential. His game going well opens it a lot for Markus and the Hausers

Anim.

J Hauser quietly had a solid game, Morrow solid on the boards, and Markus was Markus. Just think Sacar's contribution made a huge difference.

Herman Cain

Sacar

Markus Howard - Honorable Mention

It was Markus, not just because of the 26/5/8 (he wasn't credited for a rebound on the long runout to Anim) but because he was primarily isolated on Xavier leading scorer Quentin Goodin. Q averages over 13 ppg & had 1 today. Markus was in his grill today.

Honorable mention to Sacar.

Mr. Sand-Knit

Yikes that was really ugly, but to still win by 18 says something about MU and Xavier, too.

Im going with Marcus, a number of times things got a little nervous and each time Marcus hit big time 3s.

Sacar. He was the spark plug that got everything going when no one was hitting.

HM Joey. He's very quiet out there, then you look at the box score and realize he has 20 points.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

Sacar. End thread.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Nice game from Anim.  But six 3-pointers and 26 total points, along with eight assists, from Howard.  How does that not qualify for SOG?

My vote = Howard.

I was wondering about this. I'm not sure how much Goodin played. He only appears in the play by play once in the second half. Did he get hurt or something or did Howard make him that much of a non-factor?

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Markus. He would have had double digit assists if the other guys hit even some of those open looks.

Ellenson Guerrero

Sacar. We needed his big first half.

Markus took him out of the first half. At one point in the second, I noticed he had a bit of a limp. I do think they rested him once they got down 15+. Though his replacement, Keonte Kennedy, didn't do much better against Howard. That was one of his better defensive days, at least in the possessions I was watching him specifically.
