Yeah. Imagine what Scoop would be like had our head coach gotten us 0 NCAA Tournament wins in his first 4 years.

To the tune of 0 NCAA Tournament wins. He's getting it done down there though.

So, results don't matter. Just toughness.

Or, at least, that's what your post implies

I don't remember Buzz having 0 NCAA wins in his first 4 years at MU. My bad.

VT must be very happy considering their history.

Message sent,  MU must lower its expectations.

Or imagine one of our high profile recruits not being able to play because the NCAA is hinting that one of our players cheated or got a score that doesn't smell right on the ACT, therefore needing to retake it.

That's happening at Virginia Tech basketball right now with Landers Nolly.  Could be overreach by the NCAA, could be something does smell.  More likely the NCAA wrong here, but no one knows at the moment. It seems MU administration said they don't want to with those types of things anymore, too much controversy that keeps sticking to a coach. That is their call to make, it is still a university athletic department.  He is an amazing coach, but he does seem to find trouble at times that some administrations may feel not worth it.  Va Tech is a football school, a perfect place for coach Williams.

Mr Bernstein,

I cannot help but wonder how high the MU program would soar if Buzz, unshackled from the Scottie and Larry silliness, were still at the helm.

Pilarz had issues at Georgetown Prep; he was an unmitigated disaster at Marquette. I am stunned that he was given the lead role at any university after his inappropriate behavior issues. The Society of Jesus is desperate for clergy, I suppose...

I'm fine with not having turned into what Izzo has going on behind the scenes at MSU. One time was one time too many.

So now we'll change arguments. Not really getting it done, as was stated, but getting to the Tournament...one time more than Wojo has. Given that he was able to take what he wanted from his MU recruiting class plus keep what he wanted from VT's recruiting class when he started that's probably fair since Wojo didn't have those luxuries coming into MU.

What is?

Oh yeah that's right.  You're of the opinion that we've never made it to the NCAA Tournament under Wojo because we went 4-0 against teams that had injuries.  So Buzz has gone to 2 more NCAA Tournaments at VT than Wojo has at MU.

Lol.
