i do believe crash is quite a bit south of 73 and no doubt he, in their new relationship, wanted to share their love for each other in a form many others do; bringing new life to this world. knowing the man as an MU dude, a military guy, an accomplished researcher, and a role model, their child will be a big positive addition to this society. we could use a few more crash jr's on this site as well-keep 'em coming big guy

Listen, if an old fugly like Strom can wet his wicket and enjoy fatherhood late in life, why not others? The POTUS, Michael Douglas and many others are in this boat.

Keefe has more than his share of tragedies and spent a great deal of time serving us, so many years of happiness to him. Hell, my parents were retired when I was at MU, me being termed a "pleasant surprise". My parents always said I made them younger.

And for the flip side, the trend goes the other way nowadays. Maybe even hotter on the West Coast. Biology may prevent child bearing in that case but not romance.

My Dad was 43 and Mom 41 when I was born. Next closest in age is ten years older, and oldest sibling is 17 years years older. I prefer "Gift from God" over "pleasant surprise", but both work for me. My folks said the same thing about feeling younger. I really miss them!!!
