I really enjoyed our run in the TBT.  I had more fun watching us win the previous couple games than I ever would have thought.  Felt bad for Diener Trend and Jerel.  We talked about the Kansas game as well, damn I had hoped to never remember that one..

I am hoping we can put together a new team next season.  I'd like to see Devonte, Nique, maybe Lazar and Reinhardt to go along with Jamil and Jerel and Diener.

I say drop Trend, the UWM guy, and Jake and add Buycks, Davante, and Rowsey.

Add Wade while you are at it.   ;)

I don't think next year, but with the way DWade was tweeting out and showing love to the team, I wouldn't be surprised if he played at least one time

I would be very surprised if he ever played in this event.  Why would he?

Lazar would be the perfect addition to this team.

College Lazar or Lazar that is playing in the Venezuelan league and not even listed on the official roster

This MU TBT team really lacked length. Did have Trend, but well he is Trend.  Needed some Jameel McKay long athletic type guys (w/o the head case).

School pride, play with old teammates, bring MU a championship, no such thing as too much good publicity, laugh that 40 year old him is better than 25 year olds, might be retired and want to still hoop competitively from time to time

More likely to play in 3v3 I'd bet but maybe if the squad got enough of the old FF team (looking at you Novak) they could convince him to at least be a coach

Yeah, this is where I stand too.  There is no upside for him to compete in this thing.  I could see him involved in other ways like hurler mentioned, as some sort of coach.  But he probably remains as their highest profile cheerleader. That is fine by me, because anytime he mentions MU it brings our university to millions of people who otherwise would have no exposure to it.

He has played well in all the stops he has made the past few years.

Really tough night for Jamil.

spent too much time trash talking DJ Kennedy, who was schooling him. Not enough Travis out there.

I'm not seeing any future Hall of Famers and multiple NBA title-winners hobbling down the court in their late 30s to play for the kind of money they used to make in a couple of NBA games.

But sure, maybe DW will be the first.

That was a lot of fun, and I don't think that's anywhere near the best team we could put forward.  I'd like to see the same core with Mo, Jamil, Jerel, and Travis plus add Davante, Novak, Otule, Buycks.  I also really enjoyed watching the two other Milwaukee guys having followed them from their youth - especially Bowers, who projected to be a real stud before all of his well documented issues.

Also, from my perspective, Mo was great.  Really enjoyed watching him.
