Hoping for the best and would love another crack at Villanova, but realize that this team with it's youth and makeup could win or lose on any given night.

Honestly, you'd be on the top of my list.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

If we lose to DePaul, with a lot hanging on us winning some conference tourney games, likely some heads will explode. But what really should explode would be Wojo's butt from the blistering volcano attached to it with all that heat. Losing to DePaul twice in one year should be plenty of kindling to turn up the heat there. Having said that, we should fully expect a victory against the doormat of the BEast.

Zero heat on Wojo even if they lose tonight.

Me! My head will explode!

Well, I for one would be sad.

If we lose to DePaul.

Can we have some other reason for Willie and Sand Knit's heads to explode?  Not so sad about that.

NickelDimer

If we lose to DePaul for the second time in 2 1/2 weeks with this loss eliminating us from any hopes of a tourney bid, Wojo's seat will be warmer than it was at the beginning of the season. Idc what anyone says.
No Finish Line

It would suck for sure but other than the DePaul debacle the team has played very well down the stretch. Hoping it continues.

The "youth, inexperience" excuse again.  The freshmen have played 30 games.....That excuse is over for next few years.

MU stays out of foul trouble, Depaul will be headed home very soon.

I'm not playing though.  I mean, I get having that attitude if I am playing.  But as a fan, I just don't get all worked up about it.

In the grand scheme of things, having my team lose a basketball game isn't really high on the list of things I get angry about.  Sports should only bring me joy.  If it doesn't, it's not worth it.  I have too many other things that get me frustrated and angry.

Whose. *Whose* dumb head is going to explode.
+1.

And we're not going to lose to DePaul tonight.  We got this.

1. I will not worry about Wojo, the fate of the program or anything like that, but I will worry about guru. The boy has absolutely nothing else in his life. Nothing. If the game is close, cops everywhere should start scanning every window ledge for guru.

Mine won't explode. I've come to accept that this team can be maddeningly frustrating. If we end up in the NIT, I'm okay with it, though it's definitely not my preference.

KampusFoods

Losing to DePaul twice is embarrassing, no doubt. But our tourney chances really rest on beating Nova tomorrow night. If we don't, it will be hard to have a legitimate complaint about missing the field this year. Didn't do enough in the regular season.

Disagree.  on a scale of 1-10, you're a 1 and muguru is a 10.

Two losses to Depaul with a healthy team, gets Wojo a 2 on the heat index.  Eye brows raised.

Next year may be more of a make or break.

Fixed.  Let's hope Wojo realizes he needs some shred of defense to win games, and not just an elite offense.  Hope to see a lot of Jamal Cain tonight.  So long as we don't allow DePaul another 32 FT attempts tonight, we should win.

Losing two games to DePaul in the last 10 days of the season, that would effectively eliminate our NCAA tourney hopes - that would be hard to swallow.

chapman

It's MU in the conference tournament.  I never expect them to actually show up.

My head won't explode, though I do expect a (laborious) win against DePaul, before getting destroyed by Nova.
