I don't see many, if at all, lowers bowl people moving to the upper bowl.

How many upper bowl folks are moving to the lower bowl? I plan on being one.

This will totally depend on price and availability of seats.  I'd probably rather stay in the upper section if it means being mid court vs stuck in a corner in the lower, especially if the prices are comparable.

At least I think...

...Unless I change my mind.

...Or if I decide to spend more this year.

...Or if my wife says I can't spend more this year.

...Or if she doesn't know...

...Or if she finds out and I get in big trouble.

...Or somehow I can actually do a tour/see the viewing angles and I see that it is worth the extra cost.

They could probably get me to spend double if they did tours...

...Unless my wife sees the cost

...OR she goes on the tour too and sees how happy it makes me and gives in.

My wife loves me a lot.  Just sayin'....

What was the question again?

Coors light corner. Good times. Free beer every game. But I hate Coors light so I gave a lot of the free beers to people wandering the halls.

I think upper mid court vs. lower bowl corner will be much different at The Silk, than at the BC.

I was thinking the same thing.  My kid actually drinks her free one in the first half and then walks over and smiles at dad at halftime in the 405 beer garden.  You just wait Eng and Brew.  It NEVER ends.   :o

I believe this will probably be the case.  Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure is to actually sit in the seat.  Since we won't be able to tour the new arena, the risk is there that I'll be very unhappy all season long.  So my debate rides solely on whether I take that risk or not.  That risk then edges me toward spending less on tickets as a hedge on my dissatisfaction.

Mr. Nielsen

Not sure it will help some or not. For now the Bucks have a 3D map.

It's a lot easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. When it came to making my annual donation to MU last month, I told her I was making a donation but glossed over the amount until after. I heard all the typical "we could've done X, Y, Z with that money" but by that point it was already spent.

I'm betting she didn't start a "Why my husband is awesome" thread after that.

Well, I put a big chunk of money in our daughter's 529 account right after, so it was forgotten pretty quickly. It's all about timing ;)

How much were season tix last year and what percent increase do we expect to see this year? (ballpark)

Here is the map from last year.
http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/marq/genrel/auto_pdf/2016-17/misc_non_event/MBBSeasonTixMap_1718.pdf

I've been saying the increase will not be all that much. Too many are worried about the survey and thinking cost will go up 40%.

We will know something very soon for 2018-19.

MU gimp ONE

Looks like no one on scoop is part of Sideline Courtside or Preferred Season tickets, otherwise we would've heard something about pricing or the process.  Then again, maybe they had to sign a NDA to ensure the online rumor mill stays humming.

Based on those survey maps, I think where we'll see the biggest jump will be the lower portion of the lower bowl. It seemed like there was potentially going to be a price disparity between the first 10-15 rows in the lower bowl and the rows past that. People that are sitting in the middle to rear of a section might not feel it, but those in front of them likely will.

There was a poster on her a couple of weeks ago that went to a preferred season ticket viewing. The poster said it went well. Pricing went up only 11% to 13%. I saw that map as well, and that was the case.

I know how you fell! The little I've gotten, I feel like back in the days when I was dating. The date is going great! Then my date stops and says she has a headache. Night over.  :o

really much better than I would have anticipated, at least for the pricing/locations I would have thought reasonable for me to be in.
