MU82, I am aware of Matt's minutes recently.   It is a tribute to his character that we have not heard a word of complaint and that when the call came, he was ready to do battle with Delgado.   It is really a shame that there are so few matchups that allow for a twin tower look from MU.

Can't argue with this one iota.

If Matt plays even an OK game, we lose this one.

So..... about all of those people who want Elliott to start and Matt to be banished....... yeah.       Freshmen are erratic.   Goose eggs tonight.   Heldt was a man, maybe THE man tonight.    Will anybody learn?    Nah.

I was on the off Matt train and I'll admit it.  Heck, I voted him for SOTG.  He played great tonight and played the same in the other game against SH.  Like to see him more consistent, not just against SH.  I don't need to learn anything and who knows what would have happened if Theo wasn't  sick.  Just glad he played a nice game.

Wojo admitted to splitting his pants wide open and mooning Homer and Mac most of the game.  All in, baby!  :o

He needs to pay a little more for his suits then.  His shoulder seam was ripped as well.

The officiating continues to be just awful. Markus got a few calls today, still several more that should have been called they were not.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

You mean like the inbound where Markus was pulled to the ground by his jersey but didn't get a foul call?

Matt owned Delgado and Happ this year.  Otherwise, well..  But, congrats to Matt!

I was losing my mind on that. If we didn't get that ball in...

  • After the game in Milwaukee, Angel Delgado said we'd see "the real Seton Hall" tonight. I'd love to see the real Seton Hall again at MSG.
  • Zone works much better with one midget.
  • Anim did great on both ends. His best game in a Marquette uniform.
  • Heldt has hit his FTs all year, but I believe this is the first time he's needed to make clutch FTs. Well done.
  • Markus still doesn't get respect from the zebras.
  • I had flashbacks to 2017 on the late missed FT rebound opportunity. Nice job securing the board, Sam.
  • I'm sick of Markus and Rowsey not even trying to get a hand in front of the shooter's line of sight on closeouts. At least three times they closed out but didn't even give a token wave.
  • Big win. 4-2 from here out should get us in. Let's get another Saturday.

Rowsey tried, but it seemed like he fouled every time he did.

Great win.  Great effort by the starters with a short bench.  Showed toughness and got baskets when we needed to.

That last one looked like a tough call. Still terrible move my Rowsey considering the circumstances but looked like a very generous call.

Win on Saturday and it's very likely that we're 8-8 going into our last 2 games with the NCAA tournament in our grasp. Huge win. Need to string together one more good performance

HallScoop is probably losing its mind right now for losing twice to a team they "should" beat.

Not complaining about tonight's W but the damage has been done!  Even if they win their next six and make the dance with room to spare Porky just can't get excited after the four consecutive losses, no matter what happens moving forward.

4-2 will do the trick.

But ya, this team isn’t winning the national championship.  :-\

So when the '77 team won the national title, you shrugged and said, "Meh. They lost 3 straight in February"?

::) Could you be any more sour grapes? We weren't winning the championship or big east anyways this season so why did you even bother get excited in the first place?
