Look who they are playing, Markus and Rowsey getting bombed and X getting wide open threes.  Believe they are 7 for 11 so far.  And X has missed two dunks......Not a good night so far.

What can Wojo even say at halftime? It's not like a tweak or two to the gameplan is going to have us right back in this thing. Hopefully Markus can share some of that holy water he rinsed his hands in with the rest of the team. Maybe then we'll have a shot at working our way back from this hole we're in.

If anyone was wondering about the layoff:

No other BE team has a nine day gap between games.  But five BE teams have eight day layoffs.

Only three teams plugged a hole with a non-conference game (Nova vs. UConn in between a six day BE break, Creighton vs. Bemidji State (D2) during a seven day BE break, and St. John's vs. Duke to fill one of the eight day gaps.


In other words, "it's not fair" or "should have put in a non-conference game" aren't really valid.  Just playing terrible ball.

He should has done a bang up job preparing the team for this game.

How does one teach Rowsey and Markus to play good defense? Just curious. You all seem to know a secret that Wojo doesn't know.

FYI: they each play 31 minutes per game, meaning quite often they are on the court at the same time.

The idea that it's hard to play a game after having more than a week off to rest and prepare is just dumb. Having 9 days off is a blessing.

They're far from our only defensive liabilities. And sorry but I'm not buying that we can't play D because we don't have guys who are capable of playing D
