I haven't kept up on this thread so apologies if any of these are repeats.  I watched "When They See Us."  Pretty powerful, at times hard to watch.  I thought the actor who played Korey was great.

I am halfway through. Riveting but yes, not easy to watch.

My favorite line so far was in Ep. 2: "Sometimes you gotta ask yourself, 'When is the white man gonna get a break in this country?'"

Was just searching through Hulu and came upon "The Looming Tower" about events that led to 9/11 and the rift between the CIA and the FBI.  I'm about half way through it and have found it very interesting and well done.

Thanks for the recommendation.  Started watching this and thoroughly enjoying it.

Still trying to get through Fleabag.  Made it to S2, but stalled out with summer vacation (kids aren't going to bed as early).

I may have said this already, but Good Omens (Prime) was spectacular.  Although I generally like Neil Gaiman's works, so YMMV.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Barry S2 - incredible. There’s three brilliant episodes, the rest are good. NoHo Hank cannot be understated enough, Winkler acted his ass off. Hader directed those three episodes as well, even better.

Made my way through the first season last week, and have a few more of S2 to go.

NoHo Hank might be my favorite character on any show right now.

Agree on Good Omens being very well done. Went into it thinking I wouldn't like it, but was hooked right away.

I still think Season 1 was by far the best, but maybe that's because it was all so fresh and new. I have liked all 3 seasons.

I really liked 3, but 1 is the best.

Loved season 3, can't quite hold up to Season 1 but I'm excited for some of the setups for season 4 they left out there

For some reason I thought Season 3 was going to be the last one, but now it's pretty obvious there's more to come.

I'm not finished with season three yet (four more to go) but I have loved the increased spotlight on other characters.  Nancy, Steve, Robin, the acting for those three characters has been phenomenal.

At least one if not two more to go

Finished watching When They See Us.

Chilling and sad that white America was so intent on convicting 5 innocent kids of color (4 young black men, aged 14-16, and a 13-year-old Latino). One powerful white businessman even took out ads in the NY newspapers demanding that the death penalty be brought back -- even before the 5 were charged -- and to this day remains unconvinced of their innocence despite DNA and other evidence completely exonerating them. They were robbed of their youth and early adulthood by corruption and systemic racism.

Not always easy to watch, but a story well told. The four 1-hour episodes go quickly.

How much pure hatred does someone have in their heart to refuse to apologize for calling for the murder of proven innocent kids?

I wouldn't presume that someone to even have a heart to fill with hate.

For those of us who were coming of age in the NYC metro when the Central Park 5 situation occurred it's always a touchstone for your life experiences. But projects like this one on Netflix (and the Ken Burns documentary) are important since they expand the awareness bubble at such a high rate. Society needs to be better informed.

Watch it.

I saw the documentary in a theatre. At the end people just sat around and started discussing the movie. It’s that powerful. The Netflix is also powerful and will anger you.

Just finished episode 2 of Last Chance U. Doing my best to avoid anything online to indicate how things turn out. I will say that I didn’t think there would be a bigger a-hole than  Buddy Stephens but Jason Brown proved me wrong.

I'm finally back home and started watching last night - 1st 2 episodes. Absolutely riveting. Didn't start watching until almost midnight and it was hard to turn if off at 2 am after 2 episodes.

Sadly, this kind of thing goes on all of the time for minorities.

Succession season 2 premier was fantastic. It’s the best show on tv/streaming, it’s so damn good.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've heard similar from others.

Gotta start watching -- maybe today. I probably can catch up on all of Season 1 and first episode of this season before next week's episode comes out.
