Call the ticket office and ask. You can sit in the lower bowl.

I gave them a ring today, but they're closed for the holiday break. I'm assuming the tickets allow you you sit anywhere in the student section, but I'd hate to make that assumption and be wrong.

This is indeed the case.  If you don't show up early enough, it's no one's fault but your own that you aren't in the lower bowl.

Affirmative.  Our GA seats for the Xavier game listed an upstairs section, but we sat in the lower bowl.
