First time I've seen Joey. He's very fundamentally sound. On defense they had him playing under the basket as the rim protector in a 2-1-2 or 2-3 zone.Very ineffective down there, hope he can guard on the perimeter.

Welp, bad news is D1 Minnesota doesn't get to play Iowa tomorrow. Good news is Iowa's game is at noon pacific, but would have been 9:20am... 9:20am game would be difficult for me to see much of... noon I plan to be there.

More bad news... Iowa faces Yes II Success, who lost to Minnesota, but won the Gauntlet a couple of weeks ago. Their stud Charles Bassey was held to 8 pts (zero in second half) tonight and he'll be in attack mode against Joey and company. (btw, former uw-madison player Hennssy Auriantal was recently fired from his HS asst coaching job due to his dealings with Bassey.. tsk, tsk, I'm really a badger fan?)

Making the noon game very interesting for me... is that in the same building that Joey plays... down a couple courts Quentin Grimes will also be playing. I may do a little jogging between courts over the noon hour.
