An ad funded by the super PAC, Defending Main Street, assailing Troy Jackson, the Democratic nominee in Maine, was shown to more than a million viewers in Oregon and over 300,000 others in Washington State from Thursday to Sunday, according to Google's advertising data.

I know I won't vote for him now.

Wait til they run ads in all the Springfields
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

The liner installed in the Reflecting Pool in Washington this summer failed in 85 places, the Washington Post reported.

Zero percent of the failures were due to vandalism.

A fitting metaphor.  Failing in 85 different places.

Ya know what would be incredibly apt?  Hemhorroid cream ads interspersed with political ads.

Any other Brewer fans out there who are galactically sick of the HP Network "Self Driving" commercial?

It was mildly amusing the first 3 times.  The next 300, not so much.

I just saw that there were protesters outside of Liberty Insurance headquarters telling the company how much they hate their totally dumbass Liberty Biberty ads. Great!

Dontcha love the political ads where one candidate among the 100 senators or 435 reps promises to single handedly get legislation through congress on the (fill in the blank) issue?
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

I've decided I need to cut back on my drinking. My body can't handle the alcohol like it could a few years ago, much less when I was at MU.

Any advice on how I should handle tuesday's election if intentionally blacking out is off the table?

This time it's "Florida Woman" ...

Irene Miller, a professional photographer based just outside Disney World in Florida, went to Las Vegas for work this month, leaving her four children at home. The oldest is 14, the youngest 9.

She was divorcing their father, who did not live with them at their home in Kissimmee, Fla., so she hired a babysitter to get the children ready for school in the mornings and to check on them after school. Otherwise, they were by themselves for several days.

Three days after she left, one of her older children called 911: A dumbbell had fallen on the 9-year-old boy's head, according to an account by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

When Ms. Miller, 50, got off her plane in Florida last Friday, sheriff's deputies were there to meet her.

The sheriff's office released the body-cam footage with the tabloid-worthy headline, "4 CHILDREN. 4 DAYS. LEFT HOME ALONE." The video showed Ms. Miller, in a tan suit and a white scarf, pulling her suitcase down the tunnel, escorted by at least four officers. Deputies charged her with four counts of child neglect and booked her into a county jail, according to the sheriff's office. (She posted bond on Saturday, according to a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office.)

By then, the office said, her son was out of the hospital and the children were with their father. Ms. Miller, her divorce lawyer and her husband's lawyer did not respond to messages requesting comment.
