Next game is????

Today at Noon EDT, vs Scarlet & Gray (Ohio State ) on ESPN

brewcity77

Here we go. I still get nervous when Gardner puts one up from three. And deservedly so as it bricked off.

ChitownSpaceForRent

Jared Sullinger should not be playing in this tournament.

Down 5 despite poor shooting.

Dr. Blackheart

Play ragged. Hero ball. OSU attacking boards.

No Finish Line

Looks like the end of the road. Hopefully they can make a run but it's not looking pretty.
Down 12 right now.

Nukem2

OSU group too physical for the MU guys.  Getting overwhelmed and reverting to one and one stuff.

GoldenWarrior11

The Thad Matta All-Stars are in domination mode.

PGsHeroes32

Hopefully OSU actual team doesn't dominate us like this should we play them.

Because that game will be in the NIT at best
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Don't think that tOSU is going to make any post season tourneys this upcoming season.

Yeah I was being really generous giving them a NIT chance

Is Wes on the hot seat?

The best part of today was all the interviews with Jen Hale. It would be nice if we could get her on Fox Sports. Smart and Sexy.

We R Final Four

Love to see Luke on this team in the future. He'd be better suited to defend in a system where he can mostly stay home and protect the rim like he did in 2015. It would also be nice to have a two way big, since our other bigs (Burke, Blackledge, Gardner) are really only effective on one end.

Why not bring in someone from outside of MU? Others do.

Luke would be a big plus and do well in this tournament.

They definitely could. But as we haven't yet, not sure they will. Luke's one of the few from our alumni base that would fit what we need, and it will probably be 5-6 years before we see difference makers eligible.

Though I suppose they could give a look to Trevor Mbakwe and Jameel McKay, if they want to keep it (sort of) in the family...

If Diener's coming back why didn't he play in this tournament?  Could have used some shooting...

I'd say just the opposite. Having a Marquette alumni team in TBT (coached by a current NBA player in Wes Matthews) is great exposure for the MU program and the university. We also advanced to the Midwest regional final two years in a row. I'd say that's a pretty strong on-court performance.
