Four BE teams, Northwestern at 20!  And I do not get Texas at 24 after the dumpster fire season that just had.

Additional thoughts?

He underrates Villanova. And Texas has a killer recruiting class coming in.

I am amused by the presence of this thread so close to the thread about last year's predictions and how accurate they were.

Lots of newcomers. Young. I would temper expectations.

No one is ever going to rate highly a team with so many good but not elite newcomers.      We are all enthused about Theo, Harry, Elliot, Cain, Ike, but none are top 50.

I think there is way too much trust being put in highly ranked recruiting classes in this one. I would bump Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Texas, and Mizzou down significantly. I also think they are sleeping on Purdue, TCU, Virginia, Baylor, and Providence.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Northwestern returns everybody except Lumpkin (not a huge loss to be honest) and gets Falzon back from injury this year. Not surprising where they are.

Guys, it's Myron Medcalf.  If we made the top 300, it'd be an upset.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

And it wouldn't be Scoop if there wasn't outrage about Marquette's preseason rankings.
Have some patience, FFS.

Bump down some of them if you want, TAMU, but certainly not Texas.

I mean, it is absolutely impossible that the best coach in college basketball history could ever go, say, 11-22 after being ranked in the preseason.

Probably not going to hear from TAMU today.  I think his schedule is pretty full.

Haha. It was definitely a busy day but a successful one. Mrs. TAMU and I are in the Miami Airport now, waiting for our plane to Punta Cana. Gonna have some of that mamajuana that Newsie and RC are always going on about.

Have fun TAMU, but not too much fund.

Remember, you work in Texas. Consuming mamajuana is a capital offense!
