Or not.

I don't believe there is any type of requirement to reveal the terms of the deal, and if it was far below what the Bucks owners were hoping to get, they won't be any hurry to do it voluntarily.
Or we will.

My money is on the Muscoop NM Center. About damn time Rocky and Topper put those membership fees to good use.

Yes but it was rumored they are out because they don't really have any direct consumer brands except Sharp.

It is awfully late in the process not to have a naming rights sponsor.  Must be a buyer's market now, hold out until they get desperate to sell.  I've seen some stadiums and arenas having naming rights before the first shovel even hits the ground.

I don't think the new owners have read "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

I could get behind Harley Davidson Arena, seeing Bango and the Eagle coming out on Harleys before each game could be enjoyable.

I wonder if they will have to release the naming numbers.  It is a quasi-state agency.

I'm kind of thinking not.  The Bucks were given total control.  Not like MU's lease is public info.  But I could certainly be wrong.

I'm sensing something here.  Namely that the owners may have some sense that they have pushed a 'New York approach' too hard.  Perhaps they will try to mend a few fences? Aaron Rodgers?  That would make sense in my scenario.

Anyway.

HD is a foundation sponsor, which leads one believe that they would not also be involved in the naming rights negotiations.

And those are just the ones to voluntarily submit their revenues.

I like the idea of SCJ's naming rights:

The RAID Centre (with appropriate of dead bug on side of arena).

Or Milorganite --- I'm not touching that one.

It was close to the $150 from 1988-1992

I was there from 1987 through 1991.  I have a very different recollection than you.  I thought it was in the $60 range.  There are a lot of people on this board who were there around the same time.  Topper?  Silverback?  WarriorDad?  What did student season tickets cost at that time?

If I remember correctly, during my tenure (2011-2015) they raised student ticket prices from $95 to like $115 for a season and everyone freaked the eff out, which prompted the change back to $100 the next year.

This. 09-14 first two years were 90 by the time my fourth or fifth year came around it was upwards of 100.

I went to the preferred seating presentation on Friday, and was pleasantly surprised.  They are adding 6 or 7 rows of preferred seating on the sidelines, with different price points.  I was expecting a 40% increase after reading some stuff here, and it's not even close to that.  Couple interesting things were brought up: The two aisle seats are 5% more than the rest of the row(not sure if this is only in preferred or in every section), and they will go to the "hockey" rules of going to your seats (have to wait for a break in play, can't just wonder around whenever you please).

So what was the increase?

Not apples to apples, as there are now 5 different price points for preferred seats.  Similar seats to past years were roughly 15% more.
