Unless there is more to the story, I don’t see it. I think the media just doesn’t understand this stuff. True, the NCAA will pull some weird waivers out sometimes, but this one wouldn’t make any sense. Don’t see it. Only thing I’ve seen as arguments are awful attempts of analogies to Copeland, Miss. FB player, etc. very diff issues. The family hardship was explicitly discussed as a no go going forward
