The one and only time my wife and I went to Waffle House, I had a hankering for pancakes. I didn't see any on the menu and asked the waitress about it. "This is WAFFLE House, darlin'. We don't cook no pancakes!"

About a month later, we went to IHOP ... and I told them to take waffles off their menu!

In case it hasn't been posted elsewhere, team HQs is the Greenville Marriott.  Looks like that's a distance from downtown and the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.  Shuttles will be provided to and from the Arena.

FYI - As an alternative to the Marriott, there's a Hampton Inn and a HI Express both adjacent to the Marriott and a Courtyard across the street.

Waffle House food is actually pretty good, this coming from someone who wouldn't set foot in one the first 8 years I lived in the South.

One critical piece of advice if you do go.  Don't look around a whole lot.  Keep your eyes on your phone or a newspaper or your plate or anything other than the kitchen area and the people who work there.  You are better off not knowing.

Have been to Waffle House many times in many different places and have never had even a hint of a problem. And all of the ones I've been to, except the one outside of St. Louis, have been nice places.

Same with us Goose. We used to have a place down in Tampa and we (my parents) would always drive there.

Waffle House was always one of the we would stop at on the way down there. My sister and I loved it, don't know about my parents.

As you guys all know, chick's family is from Nashville.  The first Waffle House we know southbound on I-65 is on the south side of Indy.  We've stopped there for breakfast at least a couple of times. 

Also, a couple years ago there was a big chick family reunion in the Seaside FLA area on the emerald coast.  And while I won't get into how gawd awful the traffic is in and out of there on a Saturday in the summer (literally hundreds of miles of bumper to bumper), the existence of a Waffle House at nearly every exit at least meant you could get some hot grub on the drive.

Hey ya'll. Buzz had to rebuild a program as well and in year 3 looks poised to get an NCAA tournament bid. Marquette and wojo? Not so much. The guy just can't get it done.

We have to wait for Wojo's guys to get here. Well it's year THREE!! Why doesn't this team have a PF who can bang and rebound? Why all the holes on the roster? He has had sufficient amount of time to put together a much better team than what we're used to watching. His teams are consistently sloppy, careless, weak/soft, etc. Not to mention that he's a terrible in-game coach. Attendance, season tix, interest among students and other fans is waning. Wojo's mojo is basically non-existent at this point. I am sure sick of him and I would imagine others are as well.

Imagine if MU could have just won some of the crucial games this season... Pitt, Seton Hall, heck  Butler twice! wojo simply cannot get it done. He can't take that extra step. You beat Nova and instead of using that momentum to turn the corner as a program you follow that up with a crap game and 1 point home loss to PC then an ass whooping to St. John'.s PATHETIC

what was said has been said. I call it BOTH ways. I get emotional and upset when we're losing, I ride the wave when we're winning. I'm very happy with the NCAA tournament bid and in all honesty I think Wojo has done a great job rebuilding the program his way.
