You know what gentlemen?  Wojo issued a huge challenge after this team was left for dead following GTown.  We've won 3 of 4 and should be undefeated frankly.  That's the best down the stretch ball Marquette has played since 2013.

Get a ticket Saturday.  Scrap your comfortable sofa and 60 inch.  They've earned your attendance if you're within a reasonable distance.

Okay, this is where I get to bust glow's chops a little bit.

After we lost to St. John's, glow announced that we would be moving to the $99 season tickets next year (as if he had any control over that; the tix are in my name  ;D ).  He went on to say that he would not be attending any further games this year except for National Marquette Day, and I should sell our Creighton seats on StubHub.

Of course, just like any other time when he is spewing nonsense in a fit of anger, I ignored him.  You are welcome, darling.   :-*
Have some patience, FFS.

The two of you are a blessing to this board.

Of course, plane rides are completely excused.  As are health reasons, trips to Hawaii, and maybe even weddings.  But if you live in northern Illinois as we do or southeast Wisconsin there are no lame arse excuses allowed.  Don't lazy out and still claim you're a Warrior.  No excuse if it's not SRO.  Wojo personally asked for all of us on the postgame.

Of course my son is in a basketball tournament this weekend - and of all game times we play at 2 or 3.  My wife and the other kids will be there.  I made it to 13 games this year with 3 kids and coaching 2 basketball teams.

It was a very nice road win! Biggest win of his tenure? Yes, probably because he blew a huge lead at Providence down the stretch. They win that game and this game wasn't as big. Truth hurts. It was only a huge game because he has blown 3-4 games they SHOULD'VE, WOULD'VE, COULD'VE won.

I think the problem is the games we should have won and choked away this year.  We could have been easily in the tournament already.

Luck hasn't been our friend this year...

Games we choked away: Pitt, @Seton Hall, @Butler, @Providence

Games we stole: Villanova

We could've choked away Fresno State and Seton Hall. I'm just hoping our luck balances out once the tournament starts.

In London this weekend visiting my I-4 kid who's there for the semester.

Side question, I got a call a few days ago in my office from someone at MU asking if I wanted tickets for the game.  Anyone else get such a call?  I know they want a packed house for senior day but haven't gotten calls like that before.  I didn't return the call since I'll be out of the country and would've gone if it weren't for the bad planning of the trip during Senior Day.

I saw no hero ball last night, therefore the win and no 7 min. drought.

I turn off the sound, I know what I'm watching.  I  only listen to explanations of technicals or injuries.

Why let some fool announcer play with my emotions?  The worst is the dance or when they have the "big guy" yelling and screaming.  At least the BE screaming memi is better than big Dick V.

It was a great win tonight. I expect the vast majority of people on this site want us to win. Even those who are frustrated at times and blame the coaching hope for a successful season. That is why people watch the games. If Wojo is a great coach fantastic. I think most agree they would like nothing more than see success for this team and the coaching staff. Tonight was a big step forward. Let us continue the journey, enjoy the win and stay focused on the next game..

I understand what you are saying, but ...

There is a difference between being "frustrated at times" and in calling for the coach's head every time we lose. There is a difference between being frustrated occasionally - we all are - and saying that this kid sucks and that kid sucks and the whole team sucks. There is a difference between being frustrated and saying that we don''t even deserve to be on the bubble and that the program is going downhill.

Mostly, if you are going to come on here after a tough loss and create posts specifically to tear down the team, at least have the effen balls to come on here after a nice win to give a thumbs-up, to show some support, to take part in the fun - which is what being a fan is supposed to be about. Or even - god forbid - to admit you were wrong.

For all the silliness in many of MUFINY's posts, at least he admits he was wrong sometimes and at least he seems genuinely happy to see the team win.

Won 3 of 4 huge games.

The trolls will wait for the next loss to come out of hiding. They are pathetic.

Seriously, isn't sports supposed to be fun? What a sad way to go through life, only beyotching at a bunch of 19- and 20-year-olds and rarely cheering them on.

If they weren't so effen annoying, I'd feel sorry for them.

Exactly - you root for a team to have fun -

The only thing you have in common with the real Al Davis: he couldn't recognize a good coach either.

so you're crowning Wojo as a good coach? like I said, it was a big road win in a must-win situation. Also, I've said it before, he's a good recruiter however I think he has a ton of room for improvement in terms of in-game coaching. That's hard to argue against considering Marquette should've beaten Pitt,@ Seton Hall, probably @Butler and for sure @Providence. blowing late "(big) leads is on the coach.

I like Marquette. I agree, if we make the NCAA tournament this season = GREAT THING. I just think Wojo has a long way to go before we can consider him a "good" coach. He has proven he can recruit. In-game coaching... not quite there yet. Or else our record would currently be 21-8, maybe even 22-7.

And if we were 22-7 you'd be bitchin' bout the fact we weren't 25-4, due to 3 losses being completely, unequivocally, Wojo's fault.

Yes. He is a good coach. Changed the line up a few games ago and now the offense is on a roll. Post-season for sure this year, likely the NCAA, after none his first two years.

Is he a good recruiter? Yep. Very important to the college game so I'm not holding that against him. Improving as a game coach as well.

No I wouldn't. I just expect them to hold on to late leads, especially when the lead is large. Their inability to close out games this season is well documented. There are losses that players, coaches and fans can totally accept. and there are demoralizing blown leads that are inexcusable and infuriating. The Pitt, @SHU and @Prov all fall under the category of choke jobs. I just call it like I see it.

Just win baby
