Agreed with that comment fully. If we had 3 or 4 great power forwards and/or centers maybe we should feel differently. I think he will help us considerably and he may even develop a physical game at some point.

He was also out on the court with Sacar during shootaround before the game and at the half, as well as standing behind the team at every timeout. Looks like he's getting to know his new teammates already.

I think the chances of him being here next year are about 99.999%.  Leaving would require another year sitting out.

What role do I see for him?  I would guess that he would fit into the role that Duane plays now, but less minutes.  It all depends on if Duane can start, how many minutes he plays, and how good the new guys are.

Now, I can forsee him leaving after his junior year on a grad transfer route if things don't work out.  But that's quite awhile from now.

I definitely think Sacar stays. If he left, he'd have to sit out again. Looking at the depth chart, he'll have the opportunity to earn minutes at the 2, 3, and depending on redshirt status, maybe the 4 if we play small.

Right now, I'd guess our starting 5 on November 10, 2017 are Howard, Duane, Cheatham, Hauser, and Heldt. At the middle three positions, Anim will be competing for minutes with Rowsey, Cain, and maybe John and (eventually) Froling. No reason to think he can't get some time in there as a third-year sophomore that likely knows the system better than at least three of those four.

Wow, how quickly this thread digressed to Elle Mcpherson.  Anyway, I think Harry brings more to this team.  Honestly, I was a bit worried about Heldt being the only true big.  Now we will have two big guys.  A freshmen coming in John that plays huge.

It seems like not to long ago our team consisted of 6'6" (6'4" in real life) switchables that had to guard bigs and were overmatched in the BEAST.  Now we have a pure freshman point guard that is higher level then anyone I've watched since who. . . Aaron Hutchins? Diener?  We have a gem in Hauser that will get to move to the 3 but can play 4.  We will have 2 good sized 5's . . .again.  We are looking at some actual height and presence at the 4.  We have 3 point shooters when prior we couldn't buy a 3 pointer but still chucked them anyway.

I'm good with this pick up and happy the direction of this program is going.  Oh yeah, Elle was smoking back in the day!

Im more excited about Theo than Cain right now. I think we end up with a grad transfer wing that may push Cain back.

I think that it will be a Heldt and Froling platoon when Froling is eligible with Sam and Theo at the 4, with Sam playing the 3 on occasion. Ike will redshirt.
