Markus or JJJ...flip a coin.

Going with the first (4-min) SOTG site.

Have to be honest and admit that I didn't get home until midway through the first half, but I did get a text from my SHU niece that we were up 11-0. Then I started watching and it got tied. Considered just not watching since they obviously did better without me. Kept watching and saw the rest of the game.

Maybe Markus made a lot of his 3's when I wasn't watching. I saw them on replay.
I would cast my SOTG vote for a guy I've often maligned. JJJ had a very good game. Good point production. A  few dubious drives that make me crazy. But he had steals, deflections, and was nuclear on some of his jams. Markus had a great game, but I gotta go with a guy I have often criticized, JJJ.

Lighthouse 84

Watched it on my cell phone while eating at Gibsons in Chicago, but I'd say JjJ. Or Markus. But my gut tells me JjJ.

Good win.

6. Hagerty's.

Howard.

Would pick JJJ....he will be MU MVP at end of season and really exciting performance...But...too many drives right still ending in the twilight zone. I swear I saw Rod Serling at court side.

Got to mention Fischer tip outs honorable mention

JJJ

Best player on the floor.  Howard was very good, but JJJ played pretty much the whole game and contributed on both ends.

I concur.

Marcus92

JaJuan. Georgetown simply couldn't guard him, and he made a difference on both ends. 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and an awesome block for good measure. Stud.

Can easily see the case for Markus, as well. Feels like every player on the court for Marquette made important contributions.

???

He had one more TO than Howard.  Lead the team in assists and tied the lead for rebounds.

I think we are being a little too picky here.  With Duane hurt, I don't think he came out much at all in the second half.

I LOVE Howard

But you didn't watch the game if you vote against JJJ
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Even Matt played quality minutes on the defensive end.   Yes, the one time he touched the ball on offense was a charlie foxtrot.   But solid on defense.    Exactly what we need from him.

JjJ - some frustration but the best player out there.

JJJ, dude was all over the place.
Btw - never realized he had braces.

Honorable mention to Markus. He is really good. Cya Traci.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Agreed. Luke, Matt, Sam, JaJuan and company made life really difficult for Georgetown's big men. They played tough, looked active, seemed to be talking and helping. Rebounding was pretty much even between the two teams.

I loved JJJs game tonight. Don't get me wrong. Said it in my post. But I want to see the heads down turnover drives go away.

I know I'm in the minority voting Markus. But he had an amazing game too.

JJJ - best all around player tonight

JJ and for me there's no question. Howard started well, but JJ was the man in the second half to put the game away and contributed more than points, getting boards, assists, and creating turnovers. Best player on the floor tonight.
