To be fair, Syracuse has one top-100 win according to Pomeroy, and that's Monmouth. They're probably just not very good.

Still get a NCAA bid, because they got one undeservedly last year...

And Syracuse is 198 in RPI.  Add two more and people here would be complaining about scheduling sub 200 RPI teams if we had played them this year.

With all do respect, Marquette should be replaced before butler and creighton.  With the way we've performed the past 4 years, we shouldn't be the ones picking and choosing who would stay in the conference. We need to start pulling our own weight

I didn't think teal was necessary but i was using a quote (maybe paraphrase) of Goose from another thread bemoaning the state of the new BE versus all 8 of the "glory years" when we played all the great teams.

edit:  here's the exact quote from the "no shows" thread.....not picking on Goose because he has way more MUBB chops than i do but...."The BE is watered down and nowhere near the excitement level with new BE. I'll take playing UConn and Syracuse over Creighton and Butler any day of the week."

Understood and agreed.  Kind of pointing out some the ridiculousness of focusing on things like team name or RPI in regards to scheduling/value of wins. 

That said, Cuse is looking really bad and have dug themselves a heck of a hole.  Unlikely they can turn it around sufficiently to even sniff the NIT at this rate.
