Doubt it as he returned to the lineup last night.

Tugg Speedman

Would said he was fine when talking to Homer, was a precaution largely because it was a weak opponent.

GoldenDieners32

At least he came back hes a huge part of the team. But when he was out for those couple minutes MU was playing pretty well.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

He came back and hit a hook shot over his left shoulder. I think he's aight

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

I'm sure it hurt like hell.  It looked rough.  With his history, they erred on the side of caution and gave us a collective anxiety attack.

Think he also got nailed in the nads

Because Howard is short and they pretty much sucked.

Big Daddy 84

He is fine.  Talked after the game.  Full rotation, no looseness, no weakness.

Wojo said he would be fine, but he would be sore today. I just do not understand why we put him back in. We did not need him to win the game and why risk greater injury to our most important player? Having him being close to 100% against Michigan to me was much more important than getting extra time last night.

My guess would be because the doctor/trainer said there was no risk of further injury.

I heard it was because he wanted to run the SOTG table on Scoop this year.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Let's all be honest around here for once.....it was all part of the head games Wojo likes to play.

Man did I not what to read this thread...I had not heard he was hurt bad and assumed the best...but just logged in and saw the topic and "ugh...something happened to Fisher"...but sounds like all good.

BUT, it emphasized the point to me that although we could make do with Sam H./Matt H....we're still damaged goods with Fisher out.  real trouble.

Herman Cain

I think it would be in every ones best interest if Fischer's playing time in the cupcake games was pared back. Give him enough run to stay in form and then take him out . Less chance for injury and more minutes for Matt to develop.

He went in and back out pretty quick, I wondered if it might have been a combination of the doc saying there was no further risk of injury and to give Luke the big crowd ovation and the reassurance to the fans that he'd be okay. Get him in, let him run a couple plays, then rest him the rest of the way.

If only the coaching staff cared about Fischer's availability against Michigan.

Wojo said in the postgame show it was a stinger.

Actually, Howard is not that short and is athletic.  Don't be mislead by the short starting PG.  and, reallly not that bad.  Gave MI and MU a tussle for quite a while.  Far better than Grambling or Alabama A & M for examples.

warriorchick

What exactly is a "fishers injury" and what does it have to do with MUBB?
Have some patience, FFS.
