Hoyas make good on promises to open up the offense winning 105-60 over USC Upstate. Scored 68 points in the half most in school history.

Rodney Pryor scored 32 points going 6/8 from 3pt range Posting an efficiency rating of 179.3 8-)

Hoyas continue to make good on that promise to open up that offense!

Rowsey might be able to grab 15 offensive rebounds against Georgetown this year.

With MU Win and Georgetown loss the Big East is now 34-8.

Also looking at the schedule it appears as if the Big East schools have schedule a number of the same opponents. I wonder if a conference directive of sorts came down.

Yeah, the Big East sent out a directive telling Creighton they had to make sure that they matched up with UW in the Gavitt games and Georgetown that they had to beat Oregon to match up with UW in the Maui Invite so that they could make sure to both play the in state rival MU played every year.

If the directive was to schedule the same buy games, someone should be out of a job.

The Johnnies are holding their own against MSU up 15-9 with 11:50 left first half.  St. Johns has some athletic talent.

Half time MSU 32 SJU 29. Will be interesting to see if SJU can hang with the Spartans in the second half.

Hoyas look like they have quit on JT3. Serious lack of effort going on.

Hopefully they find some energy soon.

MSU starting to pull away from St. Johns with 5 minutes left in game. A very strong MSU team and St. Johns hung with them for a long period of time. The crowd is very much pro Michigan State so it is a good experience for the Johnnies. I think as St Johns gets more experience they are going to be a very tough squad.

How's that record compare to B12, B10, ACC?
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

DePaul down big most of the game. Big rally at the end. Billy Garrett Jr hit a 10 foot buzzer beater. 68-66

Seton Hall in a good one with Florida. Gators up 62-59 with under 7 to play. Hall getting some of their own medicine, blocked frequently in close under the hoop.

I'm trying to figure out Seton halls offense. It seems like they just try to iso and very offensive boards.

Florida Beat Seton Hal 81-76l. Florida was essentially playing at home as game was played in Orlando. Florida had a couple of pogo stick type guys who were very intimidating to the Seton Hall ruffians.

Big East now 38-12.

I've never thought Willard was a great coach. He may have found lightning in a bottle with Whitehead last year, and he certainly has the players this year, but how he never managed to get Fuquan Edwin to the tourney, especially when they had Theodore and Pope around him, was just baffling.

Watching them tonight, they kept feeding and attacking the post despite getting blocked repeatedly. They shot okay from outside, but too often they seemed content to attack Egbunu inside instead of kicking out to an open man. They have some truly quality players, but the basketball IQ doesn't seem that high. I think that's pretty characteristic of Kevin Willard teams.
