Time wise, I wouldn't put any stock into it.

BE marathon on FS1 has been moved to MLK Day.  11:00 AM tipoff for MU at Butler.

At least its an away game.  I remember everyone flipping out a few years ago when the Louisville game was scheduled in the afternoon on MLK day.

I don't like it. Most working people that go to games will be on their 9-5 that day. Butler will likely be hit harder than most; I imagine urban universities would fare better at drawing on MLK Day than a more suburban area like Butler. Attendance numbers will be interesting...though may be worth a road trip.

Looks like I'm taking off this year for the annual Hinkle trip...

Am I missing something? Isn't Butler in the middle of Indianapolis?

Butler is in the equivalent of UWM's neighborhood.

A few years ago we had a helluva MLK double header at home; Pitt followed by Louisville.  Won both.  They opened the dorms early Saturday so the kids could get back for the doubleheader.  It was a great basketball weekend to kick off the new semester.

Is binge-watching Big East basketball really the best way to honor Dr. King?
Have some patience, FFS.

We drove in from MN and stayed a 2 or 3 nights in Milwaukee to catch both games.  Most definitely worth the mini-vacation!

Which game is NMD?

Traditionally, they announce it a few days after the release of the schedule.
Have some patience, FFS.

Going to try to make it, but it will depend if son is in MKE.
Goal is National Championship

Can't believe we're living in the land of F 452/1984/Animal Farm/Brave New World/Handmaid's Tale. When travel to Mars begins, expect Starship Troopers

I'll bet Xavier.  Saturday game, late in the season, good opponent.

Couple quick notes.  That Saturday Xavier game is at night.  I'll guess that gets announced as National Marquette Day.  Just a guess.  Second, we've got a bunch of 7p weekday starts.  Helps chick and I get home at a more reasonable hour.

I think Xavier is on CBSSN. If I had to put money down, it will be the 3/4 Creighton game. That has the option for Fox or FS1. It's also in the afternoon.

As is Butler.  Opps.  I see Butler is Tuesday. NM.

KampusFoods

Looks like Creighton for this year's road game. Anyone ever been?

The schedule says the X game is National Marquette Day.

Hadn't looked at the site yet. Glad I didn't put any money down. Should be a fun atmosphere with a good opponent on a Saturday night.
