Sandy's minutes in each conference game:
25,  36, 26, 33, 36, 25, 7, 19, 17, 18, 11, 29, 28, 21, 5, 0, 10, 2, 30, 21, 14

Sandy was clearly always the preference except for a game or two....but mostly Wojo shortened up the bench, and let HE and Luke play through foul trouble late in the season (which might also explain the defensive collapse in the last 5 games).

Damn engineers with facts.

Everybody needs to get into the weight room.    Get Sandy to 220.   Get Sacar to 225.    Wally... stay slim for the high jump.    Get Sam to to 225-230.   Get Haanif to 215.  JJ, 220.   If our medium sized guys add a whole bunch of muscle while retaining their skills and quickness, MU may be just big enough.    We know that 6'4-6'7 guys can compete on the boards in the Big East.   Right, Jae/JFB/Lazar/Jamil (ish)?   But they have to be strong and they have to be ferocious.  The players we have need to become warriors.

Sandy has zero chance against the Bentils,  Farrs, Reynolds, Jenkins', Yakwes, Jones', Hegners, etc. in the BE

Weren't we crediting Sandy with negating Nigel Hayes?

Hayes isn't as good as several of those guys, and definitely isn't as tough physically as most, but ... aw crap ... who am I kidding?

But that was in the easy part of the season and only in the easy offensive sets.

Sandy did an excellent job, but that was when Bo was still experimenting with Nigel out on the wing.

I'm just saying I don't think Sandy can bump down low with some of the PFs in the BE.

Sandy was pretty good early in the season.  Unfortunately he runs out of gas as the season goes on.
