Hmmmmm slightly confused here.  So does this thread actually mean anything?  I 'unofficially' tallied the votes for Cheatham and Ellenson - it wasn't even close.  The folks here overwhelmingly thought Haanif deserved this SOTG.

So this isn't really a 'vote'

Ok I am sounding cranky...time to get another cup of coffee  :)

I share your outrage. Things were different when Mike Juno was running things. Perhaps it was a different time. But it was a better time.

You can only tally the votes of the people that played or coached basketball in High School or College. All of the other pleb votes don't count.

I, too, share your outrage at the mods getting it wrong...again.  With that said, I'm sure Rocky will happily refund your Scoop subscription.

Does sixth grade CYO basketball count?

Rocky's board, Rocky's choice.    (stupid Rocky ;D)   Oh, wait, I voted Henry.    Never mind.

We have neither the time nor the inclination to explain ourselves to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom of speech Scoop provides, and then questions the manner in which Scoopers provide it. We would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way. Otherwise, we suggest you pick up a keyboard and write a post.

Must have been some hanging chads.  Cheatam was clearly the stud of the game.

I think he was the one that was the most improved that game, but he wasn't the best player we had on the court.

This is starting to resemble a game of Reverse Darts.   We hold the dart, and Rocky throws the Board at us.

Did you order that Ellenson be named SOTG?
I did what I had to do!
Did you order that Ellenson be named SOTG?!?!?

YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I DID!

It all makes sense now. Rocky models his username after the worst song in history, Rocky Top, and just like Tennessee fans, he thinks he's way more important than he is  ;D

But seriously thanks mods for all you do.

Question... last year the cumulative SOTG player tally showed up on the top left.  This year it doesn't.  Is there a setting change to make it appear?

I can't resist. You mean you cannot add 6 numbers in your head. Here is a hint, it equals the same amount as our wins.

Bolus you did not answer the question.  Perhaps you didn't understand it.  Last year the SOTGs were listed in the upper left.  This year they are not listed.

I guess I don't quite understand what you're saying.  If you don't see the block with Ellenson's picture, either...
1) You're probably on mobile/ipad (where they don't show up for size and formatting limitations)
2) You need to click the small grey "plus" symbol to the top right of the "Next up: St. John's (Al's Day)" block.

Mine says Ben Simmons is the SOTG.

He may be referring to it not appearing on the index page.  I know for Safari it does not appear on the index page, but does appear in the other pages.
