So happy for these guys. What a great couple of wins. Just the thing they needed early in the season. Now to take care if the supposed cupcakes.

warriorfred

It was nice to see fire in the belly.  felt that has been lacking for 2+ years.

Anyone else always read the "js" in jsglow as journal sentinel? For example, I read his posts and say in my head "journal sentinel glow makes a good point"

"js" are the initials of our first names.  It's from back in the stone age when a married couple would actually share an email address.

Have some patience, FFS.

Love the post tourney pic on the park.  Happy for these young men, able to turn it around.  Great memories they will have forever.

Definitely like to give some credit to Wojo for this one as well. He really got great effort out of these guys just days after it looked like they packed it in before the first TV timeout against Iowa.

The motivation was evident, and I especially liked the gameplan at the end against LSU, both going to Jajuan and pinching Simmons on both sides so he had to pass. Best coaching we've seen out of him so far.

Can you post it?  I couldn't find it online.

This just in.  Notices on the windshield of all cars in Lot F.  Get the eff out by the end of the day.  Repainting for the 'Outdoor Al Court' begins at dawn.  Concurrently posted on the student employment site: Winter season snow shoveling opportunities!

Was just about to start another thread on this, but I guess we can do it here...

Who is the new chaplain?

Friar John Laurence, SJ. Be used to be a regular poster on IWB's board under the username MinnesotaJeb. Not sure if he posted here, but I think he was on other boards as well. As team chaplain, Fr. Laurence is no longer allowed to post, but nice knowing the guy on bench is one of us ;D

No.

Not true.

Transfers can travel with the team. Just can't suit up.

I think you are wrong about this.  Matt V. mentioned that he paid his own way.  Here is an article from the NY Times talking about how Duke is using its student assistance fund to help a transfer travel to road games.

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2015/11/20/sports/ncaabasketball/ap-bkw-t25-traveling-transfers.html

"NCAA rules prohibit schools from paying transfers — who have to sit out for a year — to travel to road games. Brown, however, can travel with the Blue Devils, because Duke asked if it could use money from the student assistance fund to pay for it."

Wow Wojo thinks they earned the right to wear a tie? It was two games, Woj. Slow your roll.

You sure? Read an article earlier this week that he paid his own way to go with the team. Also says in this article that they can't travel with the team

Thanks. That's pretty cool that he has been around the MU message boards. I pulled up his MU bio, for anyone interested:

http://www.marquette.edu/theology/laurance.shtml

Looks like he is teaching two classes this semester. I would want to take those, as I assume class would be cancelled when he is traveling with the team.

Is Fr. Kelley ok? Just retired?
