Good rebound by the team, especially the team effort.  Winning ugly but the team stayed with it.  Playing for a banner tomorrow night.

It's been a LONG time since we have had a win like this (national television, ranked opponent).  Definitely good to build from.

The team needs confidence in a big way.  They have played as underdogs in every game, seeing their play and body language.  Against the press late, and after Ellenson fouled out, NO ONE wanted the ball.  Whether it was Carter, Wilson or Cheatham, our ball handlers were dribbling into double and triple teams - because no wanted wanted the ball in the pressure situation.  That needs to change.  Hopefully, this win will boost the group and start "trusting the process" as scoopers have so eloquently put it in recent years.

RESPECT the process.  Get it right!  ;)

ESPN studio is a joke. Let's talk about the losing team.

I thought the same thing.  Not only did they talk about LSU the WHOLE time.  But what I learned is that LSU lost because Simmons passed the ball and did not shoot.  Had he shot, LSU would have won.  He is good, he should have shot, so he definitely would have made it, right?

I guess Ellenson is going to be the guy we harp on this year when he's not perfect.

Not the first time this season that HE has come up small in crunch time.

Yeah, he probably does.

He has to be the one to take the last shot.

With a nod to JayBee, experience (or lack thereof) does seem to play a role in how we match up against other teams.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

No question he should have shoot it but other than Jordan, no one gets the benefit of making a shot to win.

Even more reason to hope he is here for at least another year, I feel he looked better today, Luke was he man

Then they say LSU will compete with Kentucky for the SEC title. I'm thrilled for the Marquette win, but the missed free-throws and 21 turnovers were a major problem for MU. MU, could have won by 20 pts.

Vandy and Kentucky will separate themselves in the SEC.  LSU will be in the 2nd tier.  Definitely a Tourney team though.

Four college games. Two double doubles, including one where he was matched up against the top freshman on a ranked team, and yet he gets criticized for showing up small in crunch time.

As I said he is going to be harped on because he doesn't meet our expectations. But he was very good tonight.

I get what sultan is saying... The whole team could have done better. But again, he did miss two key free throws against belmont with 1 min left.
Having said that, that was his first ever MU college game.
This stuff is so frustrating, but this stuff is going to happen because they are FRESHMAN.

At least for tonight, there is only one poster criticizing HE. Shocker on who it is.

It's not "coming up small" it's youth. I'd like to see the percentage of his fouls that are offensive. There's a book out on him already. He's gonna figure that out in short order.

Refresh my memory: Is this Wojo's first win against a ranked team?
Have some patience, FFS.

God... I can't believe we shot 58% from free throw....
Easily could have won this game by 5+ points

Played well tonight.
Played Ok tonight--not the point.

I'm waiting for Duane to be the leader that he needs to be on this years team. On this team, shouldn't be making Frosh mistakes and decisions...should be the leader and director that he has been in the past.
