Had a friend who attended the coach luncheon yesterday and Wojo said the reason Marquette is playing Valley City State is because the oldest Ellenson is on team.

Three Ellensons on the floor at one time!?!?! I bet their mom and dad will be very proud.

Don't know if this was ever discussed on Scoop, but I've wondered since I found out Ellwood was on the team if the scheduling of this exhibition may have been one of the carrots Wojo dangled during Henry's recruiting.

I remember Hank and Rick hosting a meeting in the basement of Schroeder in 1980, telling us it was common to schedule a "home town" team for each player at least once in the player's career. 

That was the same meeting that Hank told us about a kid from Maywood.....
