I think Golden Avalanche is perfect. 

1) It ties into our current nickname with use of "Golden"
2) It ties into our past with our old football moniker
3) When 4,000 strong show up it does actually look like an Avalanche of Gold coming down from the rafters
4) It allows many of us the opportunity to think about the Avalanche Super Bar.

Sounds almost like a shower of gold raining down on you, thus my vote for "The Golden Shower"

And as a signature move, how about an actual golden avalanche?  It would be a similar concept as The Wave, except it would start at the top row and cascade down to the front.

I always liked tossing the paper after the first score. Maybe they could do the same thing...start at the top and toss all the way down. If they had yellow / goldenrod paper, that'd be best.

I think they should repurpose the dice as boulders/snowballs that are gold. Give them to people in the top rafters and throw them down the entire crowd.
