I believe there is a bird flu vaccine already developed should it jump to human-to-human transmission.  I have a feeling a certain group would avoid the vaccine, however.

It's not fine that it would collapse the healthcare system and kill people who took the necessary precautions as a result because of morons.

I'm once again questioning who you follow on twitter.

However we most definitely aren't doing enough about Bird flu but it is currently manifesting itself in mass culling and die offs of susceptible animals, vs human infection.

As it was with Covid, the more infections there are, the higher the likelihood it mutates to something way worse for humans. So if your point is we shouldn't be very concerned until it is killing in numbers, I'll agree to disagree.

 We are better prepared from a vaccine standpoint but severe bird flu is insanely lethal vs Covid comparatively. Honestly though my bigger concern than that is two pandemics so close together would absolutely send people over the edge, you almost couldn't blame some people for thinking it's a conspiracy vs our lack proactively because it affects profit margins.

I'm once again questioning who you follow on twitter.

Its partial being amused by the For You tab and partial reasonable follows being like "ignore these insane people/people who still are afraid to leave their houses post-COVID".  I certainly aren't putting any stock into the doomers other than a chuckle.  They are as silly as the "COVID was a cold" camp, both extremes are laughable.

I had people who I used to follow that were brain broken by COVID and I happily pruned them years ago.
