America was better before the wusses waged their campaigns to regulate or eliminate asbestos, coal, lead, cigarettes, etc.

Dozens of beaches closed across the country due to increased fecal matter in the water.

That, of course, is what we call a metaphor.

That's why Lex Luthor is the hero. Anti-woke billionaires will always look out for the working man.

Hundred or so dead but the libs got owned

Not wanting to spend money on precautions because it was sent from someone you don't like but then debating to spend/keep the money because if not it might be sent to someone else who you don't like sure is a sign of doom.

I had a business colleague years ago that was a PHD from Cal Tech.  He once said the best way to get published/visibility, beyond niche journals/publications, was to complete and document undeniably groundbreaking work that transcended your field of study.  The next best way was to do research that could be explained with a big headline or descriptions that makes the Average Joe go "oh my god, what?!" regardless of if the actual impact/findings would actually merit such a reaction.

E.P.A. Is Said to Draft a Plan to End Its Ability to Fight Climate Change

According to two people familiar with the draft, it would eliminate the bedrock scientific finding that greenhouse-gas emissions threaten human life by dangerously warming the planet.

The EPA is planning to rescind the 2009 "endangerment finding," which concluded that planet-warming greenhouse gases pose a threat to public health. As a result, the Clean Air Act will be unable to regulate anything.
