How was someone sitting in the window of the Art Museum?  I doubt they would let anyone climb up there.  Hell, I got yelled at by a security guard for touching a piece of the Keith Haring fence with one finger.
Have some patience, FFS.

I believe that is the old campus apartment building that was located where Raynor Library is now.

EDIT:  Biltmore Apartments.  In between the two "wings" of the building.

I agree with you in principle. However, seeing as my friends were pissing on it during a block party only months before, I thought it was a little harsh.

Ahhh, good call. I vaguely remember that building and the old union, but both were already down before I got to campus.

Did you touch it as a turn on? Odd recap of events, sis.

Okay, here is the whole story. Not as sexy as you think:

When they were building Haggerty back in mid-eighties, they had Keith Haring come out and decorate the plywood fence that surrounded the construction area.  At the time, he was not yet a household name, and most of the people I knew thought it was ridiculous for Marquette to pay (IIRC) a five-figure amount to someone to spray-paint graffiti onto the fence.  So of course, folks didn't treat it any different than one would any other construction fence, especially when one is a drunk male with a full bladder.

When the museum opened, they put a section of the fence in the art museum as an exhibit.  When I saw it, I said to the person I was with, "Hey, this is the construction fence!" and I tapped it with my knuckle.  Suddenly, a security guard came out of nowhere and shouted, "DON"T TOUCH THE ARTWORK!".  It startled the crap out of me.

So that's it.
Have some patience, FFS.
