Yes, it is our favorite time of year here over here at Cool Names Headquarters  - the first St. John's game!

The Red Storm is an embarrassment of riches.  I expanded the nominees from the usual five to nine, and yet I still had to leave names off that would have won if they were on the roster of some of our other opponents.

Anyone remember the story that made national news about a Vice Principal that forced a student to take off her Fukodome Cubs jersey and wear something else because it was "inappropriate"?

That was my kids' high school...in suburban Chicago....and yes, the Vice Principal was a chick.   :-\

Let's see; we have so many examples out there that are appropriate and even acceptable: J Lo; Dice K; K Rod; A Rod; D Ro ,and so on. So K Fuk is perfectly good, and should be celebrated as the others are.
