Im just imagining Brent sitting in a commercial plane near Blacksburg thinking to himself how his plan went horribly, horribly, wrong and how he couldnt get any of his recruits or assistants to follow him.

Buzz was dirt poor for much of his life. Imagining him as miserable trying to make ends meet on 2.4 million a year while flying commercial (0h, the humanity!) is silly but whatever floats your boat. As far as his recruits and assistants let's wait and see.

I love how you guys are dumping on a kid who got caught smoking pot......

Something about glass houses ....stones....etc....

AKA.....How many of you have partaken.....At least 50%.....

If the kid can play....and has no other issues.....

I have no problem with it......

Pot will  be legal in a majority of states within 20 years....

As long as the government gets their taxes out of it.....

Weed is legal in Seattle. Lighting someone's hair on fire is likely not.

It was a joke. I dont hate Buzz, I question why he played Derrick Wilson so much but that was about all. But im not wrong about not getting his assistants. Neither Chew or Autry are following him and if Hill does not end up coming to MU I cannot imagine that he would go to VT is schools like Kentucky were actually calling.

You're wasting your time. Apparently, Harris is a precious little angel who is simply misunderstood.

I cannot stand all of the bashing you guys do to a 17 year old kid. Its incredible how you all seem to forget about your teenage antics. Have a little respect for the kid and stop being so hypocritical.
Setting somebody on fire is an "antic?"

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I know one poster came on here and said Harris set a girl's hair on fire. Do we actually know this is true? Or did we just run with the rumor?

I'm not totally sure what he did, but it wasn't drugs that got him suspended.

The hair thing is true.  I know it and a few of the other posters know it... Despite you all crapping on me when I told you guys.

This is just another Scoop "Urban Legend". Even in the inner city, setting someone on fire gets you more than a suspension from basketball.

I am just amazed at the posters here who repeat this as though it were true. Once again - "Character Revealed".

When I was in high school, I had a big Afro. And one day in Physics, my lab partner, a girl named Judie, lit my 'fro on fire with a Bunsen burner.

Actually, my 'fro didn't really catch fire. Just got a little crispy on the edges.

Judie claimed it was an accident, but I guess I'll never know ...

Orland Park is hardly the inner city... In fact it's closer to country that it is the inner city

Lets be real. He wouldve went to jail if he set a girl's hair on fire.

That WAS the point of my post. You don't just get suspended from the basketball team for attempted murder.

But Scoopers definitely aren't too worried about the truth when a good lie is much more exciting.

Oh, I rocked the Jewfro, baby! I can say with great confidence that I was one of the few authentic Jewfros on campus during my time at MU.

The student IDs I saved from those days still elicit great laughter at parties. Not too unlike any of those in these pix.
