I have a new song that will join both the old and young.... but I shall not reveal it until I put the song with a video showing MU highlights + intros.  Stay tuned !!!

Otherwise, I will continue to throw ideas out there to gauge how people feel.  Nonetheless, I think we need something that's more powerful and edgy than U2.  The song just feels ... not manly anymore.

Look, I HATE U2, but I can tolerate "Streets." If you pick something, make it semi-obscure but awesome like "Sirius." Look to the world of professional wrestling, that has like 50 different entrances for the current crop of guys any given year. They have a lot of samey nu-metally garbage, but the good ones really work wonders. My favorite currently is used by the Wyatt Family, who come out to "Live in Fear."

Moody, creepy, and fantastic because of how different is is from everything else thats typically used. Now, I would personally like our basketball team to be creepy and terrifying, but I can understand almost no one else would be on board with it. but basically, you just have to take something and make it Marquette's own. They have arguably done that with "Streets," as much as any one can make a U2 song identifiable with something other than U2, and I think it should stay, because frankly it can get immensely worse, if I am to take almost all of the suggestions in this thread seriously.

Not a bad song at all, but I think it doesn't provide enough energy in it to pump up the crowd.  Nonetheless, I appreciate the input.  I wish more people would post their ideas.  I'm thinking of a movie soundtrack that seems very inspirational.  That seems to be the route to go as instrumental music is music that most can deal with.

I'm no attorney, so I could be way off on this one. However, I think it depends on how MU uses the music. Will it only play at the Bradley Center before games? In that case I think MU would not owe any money. If the music is used on youtube videos and social media, I believe it depends on the length the music is used. If a song is played in its entirety then MU will have to shell out some dollars.
