I give insanity honors to Philly (they boo-ed Santa for goodness sake), plastic surgery honors to LA, and general idiocy/supremacy complex honors to NYC, but for hot/cold bipolar-ness, that's Chicago hands down. Just listen to the radio after a 1-0 Bears start and enjoy people declaring the second coming of 1985 and then right after a loss to GB, and enjoy people lining up to jump off the Sears (f-you Wills) Tower.

Anyways....I picked a hell of a time to have overnight training in luxurious Appleton, Wisconsin and not be on here.

It seems like SoCal has been trying to weed out some of the shitheads, but this is a new low. I really enjoy this place, but I registered over at BCB to give it a try. Best part about all the new negativity-only posters is they will be long gone 15 minutes after MU loses in the NIT, and won't be heard again until Buzz's first loss with Derrick Wilson starting point guard next year.

I understand and do appreciate the open forum that has been allowed by the moderators. There are bannings happening in the extreme cases (see Nevada and setyoursightsnorth), so hopefully those continue. If not, this place will be even deader during the offseason with TT, Sultan, brewcity, etc all gone.

I agree. 

The mods do this for FREE.  Actually at a cost to a couple of them. They owe us nothing. 

With that said, the mods will do the right thing and delete or ban the knuckleheads.  Just realize, they can't do it in real time.

If we want real time moderation, I propose that Keefe be annointed as a moderator!  Let hthe sh1t storm begin.

I know this board is dead in the summer, but it is probably my favorite time of the year.  The news is slow, a lot of BS gets thrown around, but at least I don't have to read the constant griping about one bad season in 7 years.

A bunch of them do.  Actually, there is a large contingent of folks who post on both boards.  No big deal.  It's just the ones that were so public about their disgust about Scoop that get made fun of.

Personally, I liked Brew's posts.  He's not a bad guy.  I've had a couple of good conversations with him via PM over the years.  If he had an issue with Keefe's picture, he simply should have PM'ed him and asked him about it, versus whining about it to the mods.  Brew also has an image of a native American with his profile.  I am sure that someone could take offense to that.  I am also certain that Brew means no offense.  I have to believe that Brew would appreciate an offended party reaching out to him directly to share their concerns, versus contacting a moderator, or making a public statement full of wrong assumptions about him.

Brew was the first to go.  TT, in fairness, made a bigger public stink on scoop.  Brew did his complaining first with Scoop mods, then publicly on BCB.  No big deal.

This past season was obviously very frustrating to say the least. The irony, looking back at the original post, is that it's quite possible the coach at that time wasn't giving the team his best effort knowing he was probably going elsewhere at the end of the season.

Brew wasn't pissed off about my avatar; that was a red herring. He didn't like people poking at his pomposity and presumed knowledge about basketball. In the end, he ran away bitching like a school girl.

The ultimate irony is that he now pontificates on Ganzer's site. I thought his opinions were ill-informed and questionable when I could read them for free. The thought of paying Ganzer for the privilege of Brew's unique perspective, probing analysis, and wry wit is beyond laughable. I can get my daily dose of uninformed opinion right here.
