Sultan always thinks he is right--I think that sometimes can be called narcissism. His definition is "the right side of things" and any different is not.

It's because he's always arguing with you - so yes, he is always right.

Yeah, and how about Buzz bragging on calling out the refs son when protesting the T on Jake? The guy's mouth does seem to wander on occasion.

Again, a made-up assumption. If Buzz called out any ref's son that way he would have been T'd up. Furthermore, he would have been reprimanded by the league or NCAA for verbally going after a ref's family.

I took it that he was telling the ref that he had a good kid and that's Jake was that kind of person - meaning Jake would never deliberately taunt anyone. Not "my guy is better than your kid" as people like you are going to say.

But before anyone posted on this board about it. I could have named the whiners who would criticize Buzz about it. You guys are  one-trick ponies.

great logic--he argues with everybody-so he is always right. Including you--so you are wrong!!!!
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Not the way I heard on the post game show--and he said it--just plain stupid. But to you, Buzz can do no wrong.

Willie, you really have no clue.  When Buzz says something, you seemingly have no idea of the nuances behind what he means.  Do you honestly think he was calling out a ref's son in a negative way?  If so, how come we haven't heard anything in response?  From the Big East or anything?

Face it, you completely misinterpreted his comment.  You are on some quest to prove the BS of "Buzzspeak," but you have turned it into some sort of McCarthyesque quest to find things where nothing exists.

And it makes you look completely foolish.

FIFY.

Nobody can actually be that stupid, can they?

Sorry, but I did not. I genuinely took it that way. Explain how you took it. Maybe I got it wrong.

Just FYI. Go back and listen to the podcast of the postgame. I just did. Buzz admits that is what he said to Corbett, the ref. Jake is a better kid than Corbett's son. Buzz said he said it. Now maybe he said it in frustration--but to again bring it up in the postgame show is either bragging and/or not too bright.

Listen to the podcast, Navin!!! Buzz said it. I didn't. You put your spin on it if you want. He admitted he said it and I interpret him saying that to a ref as dumb. It had no business being said to the ref, and to bring it up again in the postgame, admittedly to defend Jake is still dumb. Calling a ref's kid is just plain dumb!!! He could defend Jake in other ways in the post game show. It was dumb and IMO bragging about the comment. Go ahead, put your spin on it. Defend the indefensible.

It's not the nuance itself, it's who <insert coach> is doing the nuancing that matters here most.   ;)

Once again, let the record show who brought Crean into this thread that had nothing to do with him.

I should know better than to try to argue with the criminally dumb, but here goes...I don't need to listen to the podcast, I heard it live. I, like anyone else with an ounce of perceptive ability, or without a bias/agenda, knew exactly what he meant. For you to suggest that he was 'calling out'' the ref's son, as you have is beyond stupid. He wasnt saying anything disparaging about the ref's kid, he was saying your kid is a good kid, but even as good a kid as he is, Jake is a even better kid than that...that's how good a kid Jake Thomas is, why he wasnt taunting, etc.

The only reason you didn't hear it that way, as nearly every other non-whiner here did, is because you don't want to (at least I hope that's why).

+1 with the point you are making about Jake.  That is exactly what was meant by Buzz's comments about Jake, the ref and the ref's son.  Buzz was not trying to "call out" the refs son, just pointing out what a great kid Jake is.
The rest of your post is absolute garbage.  Try taking out all the insults and just make your point.  I highly doubt you would talk to the "whiners" like this in person.

"Criminally dumb" you say while looking in the mirror. You have a bias agenda, just as you say I do. In your  mind Buzz can do no wrong. I have plenty of perceptive ability, which I have used for many years and has served me well. You do not know me--but in your blind bias, because you disagree with me, you feel superior. That is all right, though for you to slam the table and call names, because you cannot recognize that making a reference to the ref's son , and then to bring it up gain in a live broadcast is also "criminally dumb". So spare your sanctimonious preaching and blathering about stupidity and whining. Insults show your strong suit--possibly the bullying type?? But I digress, because I do not really know, but can only speculate--as you have just shown yourself to do--often--I might add. I figured you would try to spin it, which is exactly what you did. Keep trying-you need lots of practice
How would you feel if you were reffing a game and the coach made a stupid comparison that Jake was a better kid than your son. Hopefully you would just shrug it off as being just Buzz speak. Making that type of comparison by a coach has no business in the game. But you cannot see that because of something--don't know what that is. The call was a bad call, but Buzz just risked a chance for escalation by doing what he did. No doubts about it. Keep on slurping. There is no excuse for what Buzz said twice--in public, and your misguided attempt to excuse it is plain dumb. He could have made his point without bringing a man's family into it. Sorry, you just do not get that, but blindly defend your boy, Buzz.

You would notice that, once again, no one agrees with your POV.
