Yup, along with Terror Sink and another Sultan name I forgot somewhere in between.

Terror Skink that's the one that I couldn't remember.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

I think the most ironic thing is that I actually ended up watching the MU vs. X game in my moms basement...Buzz was personally talking about me!

Ahhhhh yes yes.  Name changes confuse me.  Wish posts they made under their old name didn't change as they changed their names.

Sorry Melissa....no dice.  Best of luck to you on your graduation in 2015 that you may find gainful employment and not need to return home to your parents basement.  Unfortunately its a tough economy out there, and even with your dedication to tutoring - and not participating in a fun, social experience such as a game against Creighton - I suspect your people skills are greatly lacking.  Could make it tough for you.  Takes a lot more than a good GPA.  This quote of yours suggests as much:

"Not all students care about the basketball team. I have better things to do this week. Ill try to catch a few minutes of the telecast."

So question for you:  If you don't care about the basketball team, and have better things to do this week (such as tutor) why in the hell do you post here??
Great question Ners. Just proves that if you get away from the Derrick/Dawson controversy, you have awesome insights.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Actually I do follow the game and team. As I stated later in the thread I've gone to other games this year and previous years. I was just stating that some students don't care and don't have the same level of enthusiasm as many of the regular scoopers. This week my schedule is hectic. The game doesn't fit. Boo hoo. Have you been upstairs yet today?

Chicos lives in his mom's basement but it's okay because he owns it.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I can't believe there aren't more votes for the power hungry moderators of this cesspool. They're obviously in it just for the money so that they can finally move out of their parent's respective basements.

Whoops don't know how I've never noticed that.  And I wasn't commenting on you specifically, sorry if it came across like that.  Just referring to the times I take a break from scoopin' and come back to find some of the usual suspects had changed their names.

Hmmmm   Maybe a "CLUE" might be which one of those are NOT posting right NOW.... Because they are either attending junior  or senior High School , maybe even college classes as we post.  As Classes might "force" then to get them out of their mom's basement...   ;)   just sayin'..... :)

HaywardsHeros, Ners, GoldenBoy, TheUltimateWarrior, and the BluemanGroup (don't remember his real username, but his dad once told him some inside scoop, he's been on the jumbotron, and even on TV).

Theres a nomination!!! Damn that took a while.

But you know what they say, those who typically nominate, are hiding something.

Funny thing about this thread though. Back in the day I knew about 4 people who you would say over stayed their welcome with mother and father....every one of them had an upstairs bedroom.

I wish YoungPhilly were on here.  Him and his gun smacks of thug-life in the parents basement.

Sorry to be late to the party, but heavy snow melt caused water seepage and I had to unplug until I could mop up.

WTF, TallTitan has more votes than me?  He can't even stand up straight in his mom's basement!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Nice.  LOL.  As for my day...I took the ride down the elevator 30 stories in the building I live, enjoyed an hour at Starbucks, took care of necessary e-mails, and just finished a 75 minute hot yoga class.  Heading out to have lunch with some friends and can't wait till tipoff tonight.

It's a good life when you start your own business, and it goes well.  I get to make my own schedule, and have a ton of flexibility and free time as I have great people who work in my company.  Being able to delegate, and show confidence in people - that you as an owner/founder have trust and confidence in their ability to do the job well - inspires people, and is mutually beneficial.  If you ever start/own a business - always remember:  The employee is more important than any other aspect of owning a business - more important than the customer...more important than investors/shareholders.  Treat your employees great, recognize their performance with recognition, and awards - and you have a formula for success in business - so long as your product/service are also very good - to world class.  You can survive on very good product/service....if you have great people.  If your people aren't very good...your offering better be world class.

That's my wisdom for you today, and what I've learned since leaving MU in 1997.  I also learned that you have to take time for the fun in life, and I'm actually genuinely sorry for you that your hectic schedule won't allow for you to find a way to go to the game..and support the team you are a fan of...there's only a handful of nights in a 4-year college career a Top 10-15 teams comes to town...
