Ah, sh1t, 1:00 start!!!

Go Warriors!

This might be my fault, the Banner said 2pm all week, and I fixed it last night, but nobody corrected me beforehand.

No traffic on scoop today. Any update on Jamil?

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

None that I've heard.  My guess is he's either on the floor to start half 2 or it's something we should be concerned about...

Otule's Glass Eye

Commentator said Jamil is available off the bench but likely won't play just as a precaution. Shouldn't be too serious, likely just a hyper-extension. I expect him to be ready for Creighton on Tuesday.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Wake me when they start running the offense.  ;)

So, what's everyone drinking?

Smidge of Pendleton here.

I'm liking that the freshmen are contributing some meaningful minutes.  Johnson and Burton have looked better defensively as well, opening the door for more meaningful minutes against Big East competition.

I'm also liking that Buzz is keeping Jamil out as a precaution.  It sounds like he could go if the game was tight.  Allows some minutes for other players.

JJJ needs more playing time!

EDIT: Hey look! Our starting PG has 2 STL, 3 AST, 5 REB...and is 1/3 from the field and 0/2 from the line!

It seems like Burton is a black hole on offense. Does he ever pass when he gets the ball??

But he's gotten to the line 7 times.

And has filled every statistical column except for 3PT.

Burton has been getting a lot of paint touches.

Deonte Burton with THE DUNK OF THE YEAR!

:o

nyg

Samford is terrible, one guy (Tim Williams) has like half the team's points.

More Burton, more JJJ.  Less Jake.....  Don't care who loses minutes.

The team has actually played better without Jamil on the floor, but this is an inferior Samford team.

Burton dunk should be ESPN Top play.

madtownwarrior

Think Burton has more assists than DeWilson.

3 assists each: Jake, DWil, Todd, JJJ, Kane

Mayo 6-6 from the line. Deonte: 5/9 from the line.
Next closest? Jake. 4 attempts.

forgetful

This game makes it look like our best 5 is Burton.

PGsHeroes32

Jamil, Todd, JJJ, deonte, davante

That is a winning lineup.

Derrick at point too and either JJJ or Todd on bench.

Everyone else cheer really loud.

Juan for occasional energy.

That lineup would give up 90+PPG, average 25+ TOs a game, and get outrebounded in every game.

Did you see his rather nice pass for an assist to DG?
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Goose

That will be the lineup we see more and more as season moves on. They can pressure the ball full court and scoring options across the board. Burton and JJJ are players and ultimately best guys always do play.
