I have attended a meet & greet with Father Bob in his earlier incarnation where this subject was brought up.  He is staunchly anti-Marquette football.  For a variety of reasons that all make good sense.

The entire throwback uniform is epic. Newer ones nice, too, but the baby blues are a little much (unlike in basketball, where they are awesome).
