As a frequent resident of Tokyo I followed the infelicitous travails of the Yakult Swallows. The wretched play on the field at Meiji Jingu Stadium was often only redeemed through the earnest efforts of the Swallow Beer Girls. These dedicated lasses ported Kirin, Sapporo, and Asahi in kegs on their backs and distributed that vital nectar to the otherwise forlorn Swallow supporters whose only solace was to be found in the bottom of yet another liter. God bless you Swallow Biru Garu! God bless each and every one of you!
