Wow--Jr was on with Ted Davis(voice of the Bucks) on Wssp today. Junior was thrilled about the opportunity and explained how great it was to play for Buzz, playing in an NBA arena, MU fans, etc. That sucks---hope he can get it squared away.

Is it just me or do the Canadians on the Newsweek cover on Canadian rage look Middle Eastern?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

They signed him weeks ago and couldn't get his visa situation ironed out?  Did they not know he was Canadian?

This is complete B.S.  Junior has been in the states - presumably on a student visa - for over half a decade.  Moreover, the NBA has been playing in Canada for almost 20 years and has had Canadian players playing in the US even longer than that (not to mention the plethora of players from outside N. America).  Point is... there is no learning curve when it comes to the NBA, foreign players, and visas.

Something stinks... has anyone checked on Herb lately?
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

People that are surprised by this are making the big assumption that the Bucks front office is competent.

Maybe they could fix it if the government wasnt shut down.

Um, isn't the owner of the Bucks a U.S. Senator?  If he can't get this fixed, then either it's not the real reason or Herb has no real clout.
Have some patience, FFS.

Not any longer.

You don't think Herb could still make a couple of phone calls?  Why do you think these guys become lobbyists once they are out of Congress?

A wise guy might say a short, not especially quick point guard with no outside shot just might not be NBA material, anyway.
