Really couldn't have said it better myself. Only other show that is better than first 4 of Dexter were first 2 seasons of Prison Break.

This season of BB is really something.

I know I am a few days behind on this thread (I don't often read the Superbar), but man what a doucher is Jay Bee. Dear lord...especially for a guy that, If I am not mistaking for another scooper, spends so much of his time watching, writing and analyzing high school basketball - just pure comedy.  Now, if Jay Bee is not the guy I am thinking of, well, he is still just a unnatural carnal knowledgein' douche. Hah.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

And now we know why "Better Call Saul" is going to be a prequel.
Have some patience, FFS.

The moral of this story seems to be knowing when to walk away. Against his better judgment, Mike chose not to walk away after he was no longer in Gus' employ. Walt handed Jesse the chance to walk away. Hank had a closed investigation and had the chance to walk away. Now we see Walt forgoing the chance to walk away. Never seems to end well in this show when people push their luck.

This show is the epitome of Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler".

Go watch your little TV show, bud. You and your buds can talk about it at the water cooler. Awesome.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Jay Bee, If this were a basketball thread, you'd be a troll. Leave the thread and post about what you care about so I don't have to ban you.

Breaking Bad makes a dying boy's wish come true

Apparently, the most recent episode, and the series in general, was supposed to end in a very different way, until Vince Gilligan (creator of BB) talked to this dying kid

http://www.thewrap.com/how-breaking-bad-made-a-dying-boys-wish-come-true-and-scored-a-brilliant-cameo-too/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=how-breaking-bad-made-a-dying-boys-wish-come-true-and-scored-a-brilliant-cameo-too

In a word, the kid met the cast, took photos, etc., and Gilligan asked him "what's missing from the show."  The kid says "Elliott and Gretchen, Id like to know more about Walt's history with them."  Gilligan says it served as the catalyst for he and the writer's to write them into the last episode, which, of course, ultimately changed how the show was going to end.

Heard this the other day about the final episode named "Felina"....

Some speculation that it's just an anagram for "Finale" which could be part of it, but rearranging the letters in that formation also created 3 elements symbols.

Fe = Iron = Blood
Li = Lithium = Meth (Lithium can be used in production of meth)
Na = Sodium = Tears

Interesting theory anyways, thought it was kinda cool.

Mind. Blown.

That show's insane. I wish the finale was going to be 2 or 3 hours. I think they have a lot of ground to cover.

Interesting if true, but Sodium can also be used to make meth.  The writers of BB are very keen on the science being perfect, but may have let that aspect slide.

I have no idea how they'll wrap it all up in an hour. Something tells me it will be better than the ridiculousness that was the Dexter finale.

Prediction,  Walt dies by his own hand after something horrible happens i.e one of his family members meets their maker,  my guess is Skyler.  Ricin is for Lydia, Jesse kills a bunch of Nazis via some kind of explosion he cooks up in the lab, Walt is there while that is going on, helps Jesse... Walt kills Uncle Jack,  while Jesse kills Todd.

Jesse leads police to shootout sight in the desert,  they find the cell phone with the fake Jesse photo,  assume he is dead,  and police eventually find the DVD of Walt,  and assume Hank was involved.

Loved season 1. Season 2 got a little weird. I'm really hoping it rebounds this year

I predict something way out there...like Brock kills Walt Jr.  You heard it here first.

Breaking Bad will be the first show I've ever watched from beginning to end...and I started the entire series just a month ago.  Man.

Too bad I'll be in the Emergency Department for the finale...all internets will be avoided after 2100 tonight!

I watched the finale of M*A*S*H  on a big-screen TV (a big deal back then) in the grill of the old Brooks Union.  The place was packed.  The local CBS affiliate sent out a news truck to cover it.
Have some patience, FFS.

I've never been into a show this much, hence my ignorance.  In any case, great set of shows to be lumped together with.

The Sopranos was great, but the ending of the last episode WAS THE WORST!! Suckiest ever!!
