Seriously, no chance in my mind.  Way to far away.
like san antonio is way to far away from milwaukee???

How is someone "who has the potential to be one of the best high school post players in San Antonio history" only a 2.5 star?  Is the talent pool that thin down there?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Not saying that I don't want this kid to commit but I feel he's more in the Roseboro, Mbao, McMorrow family than the Ousmane Barro, Otule, McIlvine family.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Hopefully Buzz will be able to work with him the same way he has with Otule. Doesn't Buzz always say that statistically speaking Chris was the worst basketball player to ever come out of Texas 6'8 or taller (something along those lines)? Also Wainwright will probably be pitching his Tim Duncan spiel to get this kid on board, playing that San Antonio connection.
Bring back FFP!!!

What?  You don't see the family resemblance?

Seriously... add a Breath-Right and you've got yourself a Jimmy Mac doppelganger.

Maybe.  But the kid also has offers from Baylor, Miami, Kansas State and Oklahoma State, so some pretty respectable schools seem to think he's worth a shot.

Can't recall who else offered Roseboro, but I thought we were one of the only high majors ever to offer(?)

QuetteHoops

From all that I've read he's dominant on the defensive end and runs the floor very well. Seems like he has very good potential. He's ranked right around the top 10 high school players in Texas.

But by all means continue to rip a high school kid on a public forum.

Rated by Texas Hoops the number 12 player in Texas.  One spot ahead of Khadeem Lattin who was mentioned on this board.

Bingo.  Especially one that Buzz is recruiting.

I agree ripping on high school kids is not right under any circumstances.  I think some of the problem for some people is forgetting to take into consideration age context, especially with bigs.

The first youtube video is really not all that exciting, until you realize it is 2 years old.  He was likely 14 or 15 in it (6'8" already), given that context he is already well developed skill wise and is sell coordinated, not easy for a 6'8" 15 year old.

True, ripping on high school kids, especially those that Buzz isn't recruiting isn't great, but where in this thread was this happening????  I see one questioning if he's quick and a one other saying they "have a feeling" that he may compare to other players.  Hardly any criticism really.

source?

Looks like he could develop into a good player under Buzz. I'd be ecstatic to have him here.

Who is really ripping the kid?, but by all means keep building those straw men.

Well, at least if he does come, he won't be seen in any bars - he looks like the opposite of Greg Oden, who always looked to me as if he were thirty.
