Stronghold

Cuse has had 33 steals over the course of the tournament so I would say their zone is playying quicker and more aggressive than it has earlier this year.  However, none of these teams are used to a zone which comes into play.  Cuse is also TO prone themselves, commiting 37 in the same 3 game stretch.  What also intrigues me is their balanced scoring production the last few games.  They have many capable guys as do we.

Wow, got a real upstate New York mouthbreather here.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

So BuffBoy, any insight as to Boeheim's status for next year? Is the fan base turning against him at all?

Of course not. In case you haven't heard, they're the hottest teamin the country. They've won three in a row.

Ok  :)

My guess is Buffalo Wild Wings here isn't capable of even a witty comeback.

Thinking on one's feet is not condoned at Syracuse.
Relax. Respect the Process.

I wish we would win three in a row.

Actually, Buffalo and PRN have expressed some of what I have been thinking, I don't think it's a surprise that Syracuse is favored - they have been playing well. If they have a good night and we are flat - it's over. But if we play well we certainly have a reasonable chance to come out ahead. As Tower noted, these two teams know each other pretty well. Of course, even if we win, we'll be reseeded fourth,no matter who else winds up going to Atlanta.

Yep. I said all this earlier but apparently when I type it, it's not considering good reasoning. You are definitely on point.

In Syracuse, Boeheim is a god. He can do no wrong. It would take a Samdusky type incident to get people to turn their back on him.

In curious to see what the NCAA does. Probably nothing like every other year they investigate him. But who knows?

I don't debate with trouble makers. Just no point.

I think there is a lot of truth to that. BUT remember that the zone you saw two months ago is not the same you will see on Saturday.

Hahah, that Marquette team you saw two months ago is not the same you will see on Saturday either. Its a two way street bro.

So why are you here? Your point about Syracuse being the hottest team has already been shown to be false.

You're just a clown, bro.

This seems to be your response when, you know, you have no response.

Nope. It's because "Wise men never argue with fools, because people from a distance can't tell who is who"?

MUSF

We seem to go through this every time a line comes out. Bottom line, people are going to favor Cuse because of their name, coach, and history. Vegas must take that into account when setting lines. If MU was favored, the betting on Cuse would be huge.

Because there are people here who are interested in having a conversation, and don't get their panties in a twist because I have a different point of view. There had been multiple people in this thread who have agreed with some of my points. I'm here to talk basketball.

I think you came here because you have deep rooted insecurities.

Not just with Saturday, but in general. It's ok.

Do you need a hug, bro?

Starting off like a fan boy and saying Syracuse is the hottest team in the nation is not the way to have a conversation.

If everyone nationally wants to devalue our wins, let us do it for Syracuse.

Montana: May have been the worst team in the tournament.
Cal: 12 seed in the round of 32, #53 RPI (Davidson was #63 even with their schedule), pretty underwhelming team
Indiana: Crean vs. a zone - game over before it began.

I believe that we will win.

Hmm... Others didn't have any problem with what I posted. Whole lot or sensitivity issues going on here.

Just a piece of advice you may or may not choose to take:

If/when you're ready to taken seriously, stop saying you "wouldn't be surprised" to see Syracuse beat a higher seeded team to whom they've already lost this season by 20+ points.

It makes you come across as either a liar or an idiot.
