If everyone nationally wants to devalue our wins, let us do it for Syracuse.

Montana: May have been the worst team in the tournament.
Cal: 12 seed in the round of 32, #53 RPI (Davidson was #63 even with their schedule), pretty underwhelming team
Indiana: Crean vs. a zone - game over before it began.

I believe that we will win.

Me too :)

Lets see if we can incorporate bro into every sentence.

Sure thing, kimosabe.

For some reason a lot of experts had Montana being the surprise trendy team. So much for that lol.

Pardon me. I'd love to see examples of that.

Translation: Having your own opinion and not agreeing with yours is not the way to have a conversation.

Hmm... Others didn't have any problem with what I posted. Whole lot or sensitivity issues going on here.

Ok, bro. You can have you own opinion. We are used to people thinking we will be blown out. Where you came across as a fan boy was saying thay Syracuse is the hottest team in the nation. Not only does that scream trolling but I think we've shown it to be factually inaccurate.

If you want to have a meaningful discussion about the merits of Syracuse's team, that's good, bro, but you should address the fact that you've been shown to be wrong.

Or are you too insecure, bro?
Relax. Respect the Process.

You tell me I'm entitled to my own opinion and then tell me I have to agree with you that Cuse is not the hottest team? Do you see the irony?

I didn't come on here and insult anyone. I simply gave my opinion. I'm sorry some of you don't like it.

Cuse was on fire against Cal when they went 12 minuntes in the second half without making a field goal! Hot, hot, hot!

No multiple did. Sorry I'm trying to post from phone while driving back from PA.

In Syracuse, Boeheim is a god. He can do no wrong. It would take a Samdusky type incident to get people to turn their back on him.

In curious to see what the NCAA does. Probably nothing like every other year they investigate him. But who knows?

Are you implying that Bernie Fine isn't "Sandusky" enough for the Syracuse base?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

He's not a troll.  His name is Ryan Fischer.  From Buffalo.  By way of Moscow PA.  Brah.

If you thought I meant the way we move or line up is different, that's not what I'm saying. I meant the players are moving better and faster. They're anticipating passes, and pushing the perimeter.

When Marquette last played Cuse, the Orange were in their worst slump in a couple of years. That gets to players. Obviously.

If I'm wrong, ill be back and take my beating like a man.

Worst slump in a couple years?  It was a 3 game losing streak.  There were wins and other loses around it, but that was just their season.  Hey, maybe you were just outplayed.  Syracuse played well against Marquette.  They just got beat.  Marquette played better.

The fact that MU has won in the past is at least a bit relevant.  A lot of MU players from those teams are still on this team.  One of the biggest advantages Syracuse has is befuddling teams with its zone.  That shouldn't happen with MU.  The players are familiar with the scheme and the type of players executing it.

That said, Cuse is playing really well right now.  So is MU.  Should be a great game.  Personally, I really hope MU punts you right to the ACC.  It will probably be a close game and a grinder though.

We went 2-5 during that stretch. That was our worst slump in years. By far.

Really? Like in '10-11 when the orange went 2-6? I forget who beat them in the tournament that year?

Buffaloboy

If I remember right we lost those 5 games by an average of 10 points each I believe? I know we started the year 18-1 and ended 8-8.

Not sure what stretch you are talking about.  From Feb 13- Mar 6 (7 games) Syracuse was 3-4.  From Feb 23-Mar 14 (7 Games) they were 3-4.  Basically there was no 7 game stretch of Syracuse's season in which they went 2-5.  When Syracuse lost 3 in a row, they lost those games to teams that finished higher in the standings.  Why isn't it possible that they were better teams?  The course of the season seemed to show they were.

Oh am I wrong? I'm doing this by memory while driving. Although I suppose 3-4 isn't a whole lot better than 2-5.

Georgetown - maybe.
Marquette - no (even your own fans in this thread said you were lucky to win)
Louisville - we beat Louisville already before that.

Yeah, you're wrong.

And people here think MU is lucky to win any game at all.  So that doesn't matter.  Not sure how message board opinions add credibility to anything.

Ok well, you beat UL yes.  They also beat you.  Then they beat you down.  Really badly.  If you can't admit they are better, you are hopeless and there is no sense continuing a conversation with you.

Also you shouldn't text and drive, it is dangerous dude.  The basketball world can't afford to lose your insights.
