Buffaloboy, welcome.   If Syracuse plays its best, they probably win.   As always, Boeheim's system is to destroy with the zone that looks so easy to beat and yet generates the turnovers that leads to transition hoops.   Average in the half court.   Buzz has a better chance of getting MU to beat Syracuse than Crean would, that is for sure.

Anybody who watched our game against Syracuse could tell you we were very fortunate to win. On the Postgame show, Buzz Williams himself talked about the vast difference in talent, going so far as to say the Orange have NBA players coming off the bench. We are going to need an extraordinary game to win...better than last night. Syracuse is MUCH tougher than Miami and twice as talented as Marquette. Can we win? Of course. But on a list of bad match ups for Marquette, the only two teams left in the draw I'd list are Louisville and Syracuse. They are far and away the two most athletic teams still standing. It's why I wanted Indiana. They had talent, but weren't going to out athletic us and we are tougher than them.

Lol went right over your head.
The Orange won't have anyone suspended for academic reasons or beating up their girlfriend or anything, will they?  Has the NCAA finished the investigation yet?

Same story different year. As Boeheim said "I'm sure they'll come up with something to investigate us for next year too."

"... of which they could really nail us if they only had some balls."

Boheim should have finished his thought.

The Process

Haha. I'm not exactly sure what they have on him?

Get ready to be attacked.

The turd from upstate ny was referring to the expected backlash from the rest of us towards PRN for his opinion on the game.

What went right over his head is that there's a difference between someone who has been posting around here for a long time and who is an MU fan and some dork who signs up for an account on an opposing teams messageboard this morning and starts posting about how his team is going to win an upcoming game by 20+ points.

This game is going to be an angry bootie call with a ticked off ex.   They are not going to show MU anything new, MU doesn't have any surprises for them.   We know all of each other's dirty little secrets and weak spots.    So it is going to be an angry, aggressive coupling with the outcome dictated by who knows how to inflict the right pain in the other's weak spot.

Everybody got it bud....they're playing with you.  Like a cat with a mouse.

And like MDMU04 said, PRN has been posting here for years and has solid basketball reasoning...and not just cliches like "we are the hottest team in the tournament" (even though your not).

LOL. Yeah. ok.

All he said was that Cuse is more talented and Marquette was lucky last time. That's not reasoning than Cuse is playing better, pushing the perimeter and have their lateral movement back?

Uhm ok...

That's cute.  Almost as cute as Cuse's choke job against Louisville.  You still haven't explained that one.  How can such a hot team choke like that?  Help me understand! ?-(

Who is hotter in the last 2 weeks? I'm not talking all year. I'm talking last 2 weeks. What other team has beaten 3 ranked teams in the last 2 weeks?

Louisville dismantled Cuse? Did you watch the game or just see the box score? Cuse was up by almost 20.

And then they had a huge collapse lol, Ohio State has beaten 3 ranked teams in the last 2 weeks...You didn't even win the conference tourney. Ohio State is hotter than Cuse....EASILY. You had 2 easy matchups before last night and then faced a coach that made no halftime adjustments and had never played that zone. We have and we have won 3 of the last 4, and have beaten you in the tourney very recently. Keep drinking the orange gatorade, the blue and lemon lime are far better.
