Was perusing youtube and came across an interview of Crawford.  Another impressive kid.  Much like Lockett in that manner.

That program is going to turn around under Coach Collins. All those kids love him so far.
Yeah they love him now. The honeymoon is ripe until they lose a few games and Collins like his pop will SNAP!

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Kentucky just got three more recruits and now have eight.

They have five of the top 11 recruits in the country coming in.  Just unreal and some calling this the best recruiting class in history.

MU still in top 10.

So what happens when they return to the NIT?
Relax. Respect the Process.

Where can I find out more about our recruiting situation. It seems like other schools (i.e. KU, UK, Duke, UNC, etc.) your able to get a detailed rundown of who is being recruited and whats going on.

They beat the likes of Robert Morris and advance to the second round.

Big events this weekend in Dallas (adidas) and LA (Nike EYBL), but some good ones in the snow-covered Twin Cities as well. Tonight I'll be taking in Myles Turner & Texas Select vs. Kevon Looney & the Milwaukee Rebels... right after that game big Diamond hits the court in a 16U game.

Will be viewing a number of potential MU kids this weekend and beyond... some updates will be at @jbbauer612 on Twitter, more in depth stuff later at LateNightHoops.com (@latenighthoops Twitter)...
The portal is NOT closed.

Hope you got your Warrior gear on. Shout out to Kevon for me.

Interesting to see SMU up there amongst the big dogs.

"RT @sphillipshoops: Georgetown, Duke & Wisconsin have tracked 2015 C Diamond Stone hardest. JTIII the only head guy today."

I honestly question sometimes if MU recruits guys hard enough. One thing I've noticed is that despite being a premier program, Kansas, for example, is ALWAYS on their hustle recruiting players. I get the sense that MU does not go hard after some of these players, which is why we strike out a lot (i.e. Embiid).

How do we know this is true. How many UW games has Stone been to as compared to MU games?

Obviously, you didn't follow the Embiid recruitment very closely.  MU was on Embiid a long time before Kansas got involved, and continued to recruit him hard to the end.  For details, search Embiid's name on MUScoop's search function.

If you need further assurance, check out how MU got back involved with JaJuan Johnson after we nearly lost him due to three assistant coaches leaving last year.  Considering that Buzz lost all three of his assistants last year, the 2013 class is even more impressive.  And buzz's best recruiting job last year probably was getting assistant coach Issac Chew away from Illinois after he had been there only a couple of months.

Your Embiid example is way off.  Buzz pulled out all the stops on him, and rightfully so.  I wouldn't be shocked to see him in the NBA fall of 2015.  RE: Stone, we have the inside track being the hometown program with his best friend in the fold.  He's in open gyms at MU and at the Bradley Center all the time, and Buzz has been to a ton of Dominican games.  We don't need to fly out to every one of his AAU games, especially when Buzz has been all over the country offering Stone's potential teammates the last week.  Some REALLY big names, by the way. If anything, Buzz has been known to land recruits because he works the hardest to build a relationship.  See Jajuan Johnson, for example.
